Founded in 1969, Lloyd Construction is owned by lifelong Tucson residents and brothers, William E. Lloyd and Bradley J. Lloyd, sons of William H. Lloyd. We have maintained our sole office in Tucson since then. Bill Lloyd, Sr. was born in Danville, Illinois, raised in Hoopeston, Illinois. He came to Tucson in 1959 to attend the University of Arizona and received his degree in Civil Engineering prior to starting Lloyd Construction.
Through the years, a pillar of business and the community, Bill, Sr. contributed to the growth of the area by successfully constructing hundreds of buildings, most right here in Pima County. William E. Lloyd (right) - After attending Grand Canyon College, Bill, Jr. joined Lloyd Construction as a carpenter, and was soon running projects as Superintendent.
From there he moved up to Project Management, successfully managing many of Lloyd's most high profile projects and becoming a LEED Accredited Professional. In 1993 Bill, Jr. became an Owner in the company and serves as the Company President.

Each project is unique and because of that our team develops a Project Management Plan specific to the scope of work, and to the Owner's goals that provides a road map for success.
Whether or not a project is pursuing LEED Accreditation, Lloyd Construction works with the Owner to employ sustainable building practices whenever possible. Our passion is for building, and unlike many general contractors, Lloyd has the value added resources and capabilities to self-perform work. For each project, we work with the Owner to identify those opportunities. When our pricing is the most competitive, the flexibility of using our own forces to self-perform is a direct benefit to the Owner.

The construction of our new building from ground up was a new experience for us and obviously there were many hurdles in our way. LLoyd Construction, headed by "Bill" Lloyd was our rock and stood by us the whole way. He and his crew did everything and more than we might have expected. Growing up in the construction industry in Southern AZ, Lloyd Construction has always been a pillar in the community and industry. Lloyd Construction’s professionalism and exceptional attention to constructability, from conceptual to completion is unparalleled. They have found the paradigm between doing business as one of largest general contractor’s of Southern AZ, and balancing the family owned business model.
