Some would say that Michael Grella was born with a hammer in his hand. At the early age of 8, Mike showed a strong interest in carpentry and aspired to work with his father in the family's successful construction business. He worked as an apprentice throughout his teen years and quickly learned the tools of the trade.
After two decades in the industry, Mike opened Fifth Avenue Kitchens in Hawthorne, New Jersey, with long-time family friend Angelo. Over the past ten years, Mike and Angelo have worked together on projects ranging from complete custom homes to your average kitchen design and bath remodels in New Jersey and New York City.
