Like many other Silicon Valley companies, Pacific Coast Mechanical got it's start in owner Mark Torrisi's garage in 1991. A journeyman with 14 years experience, Mark felt that he could make a significant contribution to his community by delivering heating, ventilation, & air condition services personally.
Air Conditioning: The AC has an indoor unit and an outdoor unit. The indoor unit is otherwise called a furnace or air handler. The outdoor unit cools air and sends it to the indoor unit for circulation throughout the room. Both units are designed to work together, and offers maximum efficiency when the air conditioner is properly matched with a furnace or air handler.

PG&E was called for a gas leak and the heater was turned off. One company said it was an old system and needed to be replaced ($5-10,000), but when Mark saw the system he agreed that was an old system but that he could repair it for me ($100). I was very appreciative of the craftsmanship, attention to detail, and the personal kindness he showed me. I wish all the service professionals had as much pride in a job well done as Mark. I recommend Pacific Coast Mechanical highly.
