Recent technological advances in the heating industry have made both natural gas and oil burning systems much more efficient than they used to be. Some systems even burn so clean that they can even be direct vented saving you money on new installs. Our service technicians are of the most experienced in the field and should something go wrong, our 24 hour emergency service will make sure you don't spend a night in the cold.
Sometimes the need for cooling can be localized to a single room. If you are looking for a room air conditioner you need to first determine how much btu's the a/c unit needs. Here you can find a chart to help you figure out the right size. Look at the a/c units description and look for an EER of 10.0 of higher.
Today's oil heating systems are not the same as our parents old systems. Oil heat today has an efficiency from 82-95 (% AFUE). Standard units run lower on the scale starting at 82 (%AFUE), the high efficiency units are 92-95 (%AFUE). Beware!!!!! This company was called for a leaking tankless system. They came out made a change-it was expensive. I list my hot water about a week later. I paid $250 emergency system and was told my system was checked out and fine. Next day I called because I lost heat and then another leak started. Called a new company and they said the system is so messed up it needs to be replaced. I am continuing to find a trained honest company, with a child in the house hot water and heat are an emergency situation.

The services were performed as planned, on schedule and very professionally.
Our technician on this visit was Jonah, and we were very pleased with his work. He seemed to be knowledgeable of our system and did a great job. Jonah left the space clean and the way he found it. He's a gentleman and was very helpful with any of our concerns. As always, we are very pleased with WTPI Services.

Their tech Corey is such a wonderful human! We were without heat for 4 days and he advocated for us to receive a furnace part we needed and got another place to give us theirs when ours hadn't arrived yet. The nights were getting colder and we were worried about our pipes freezing! Corey was on-time, professional, and personable. We will definitely call WTPI again when we need heating inspection/repair!

I chose this company to install a new heating and cooling system for my home from three other companies because they returned my call, came to see the project, gave a detailed invoice of cost of the project in a timely manner and had the best cost for the job. Plus, the secretary does a marvelous job of making sure Norm gets the message and she gets back to you.

I called WTPI after I learned that my regular furnace person had left the area and they were recommended by my heating oil co. Even though they didn't usually service South County, they came within a couple of hours, diagnosed and repaired the problem and professionally serviced my furnace. Extremely friendly and courteous. Couldn't have been more pleased.

My opinio. Giant Rip off. Intentional theft. For one thing. The Repairs were wrong and the problem has sense returned. These people were at my home for 20 minutes and replaced a thermostat motor for a zone valve that didn't need replacing.. then they wanted $365. Maybe it was the service fee for gracing me with their presence that was the rip off that Pissed me off. D S Pittsfield

If I could I would give them 0 stars. Called 2 weeks ago and set up appointment for furnace installation estimates for today between 3 and 4 pm. It's now 6:25 pm. Never showed, never called. Called their answering service 2 hours ago and spoke with someone who assured me I would be contacted back..... incredibly unprofessional.

I can't speak to the poor review by Jenna. However, my experience was entirely different. WTPI was extremely responsive. The technicians were pleasant and professional. I cannot speak with authority about the quality of work - however, I am a very handy person and once had a small handyman business. I watched the repairs and discussed what was going on. It all made sense to me and everything worked afterward. The furnace failed again a day later (bad auxiliary fan) - however the furnace is old. It failed for an unrelated reason. And the tech warned me that the fan was in bad shape
