Services
At Base Ten Architects, we believe that a hands on approach is the best way to understand the materials and techniques we build into our designs. In keeping with this belief, we set time aside to step away from the desk, pick up the tools, and create tangible, functional objects. Our small projects range in scale from custom wall mounting brackets to king size bed frames.
Built within the western half of an existing early 20th century warehouse building, this 5,000 square foot space serves as the Chicago location for John Burns Construction Company. A robust timber frame structure, 14 foot high ceilings, and large metal frame windows form the bones of the building which we chose to respect and consider as we developed the interior.
