Just like for most people, the job we end up in is not the job we expected to be in. That is how Chris got his start. Essentially, he got into the garage door business by going to a birthday party. While Chris was in grad school, he went to a friend's birthday party and overheard a guy (Nathan) talking about how he lost his only employee because he could not guarantee him full-time work.

Garage doors are the largest moving objects in most houses, which means that there are lot of things that can happen to make them break or lose efficiency. Just because your door is going up and down, does not mean that it is working well. The door is slower than usual. If your door is moving slower than it used to it is likely because something is wrong with the door and the operator is having to put extra work into moving the door up and down.
The most obvious time to install a new garage door is when your current door is not working and is beyond repair. The Garage Door is Old and Noisy - Sometimes is just nice to have something new that sounds great! Noisy doors can often get quieter with a tune-up, but there reaches a point when some noise just cannot be prevented.
Garage Door Operators have come a long way in recent years and there are some cool features that you will love! There are a lot of things that can cause an operator to need repair. The best indicator is if it is starting to run differently than normal or if you start hearing a noise that you did not hear before.

Like probably some others, we had both a time crunch and a sudden issue with an old opener finally giving up, that I suspected needed replacing. Chris was able to squeeze us in sooner than later. Service tech John gave us a fair representation of the suspected issue, the cost to fix, and the choices for cost to replace. The work done and communication about it was excellent, and it was priced reasonably. Highly recommend. Thank you!

I called Chris this morning and got an appointment for this afternoon. When his employee, John came to fix the door-he was right on time. He analyzed the problem and talked to me about it. Then, he fixed it quickly. I was pleasantly surprised about the cost as well. I highly recommend Chris' Garage Doors.
