DeLucia Construction has been serving Connecticut families since 2001, when Dean left his corporate career to begin constructing new homes in partnership with a long-time friend.
Over the years we have focused more on the remodeling aspect of the business, working with our clients to construct additions to their homes, renovate and/or build bathrooms, renovate kitchens, build decks, finish basements, and perform virtually any project that can be completed to enhance the value and comfort of one's own home.We also occasionally complete light commercial/retail projects.

DeLucia Construction is a family owned and operated home improvement business specializing in residential construction and remodeling for Connecticut homes. Since 2001, we have completed work on countless homes across Fairfield and New Haven counties, including custom homes built from the ground up as well as remodels, renovations and additions to existing homes.
We strive to create lasting relationships with our customers so that we are your first choice for future projects. This is evidenced by our many repeat customers who have worked with us on numerous projects. We practice continuous improvement by incorporating your suggestions and staying abreast of industry trends.
We generally provide free estimates. However, in some cases, we may charge a small fee for insurance estimates, refundable if we receive the contract for the work. For VERY, small jobs (jobs of only a few hours), we typically do not do estimates; rather, we will quote an hourly fee over the phone. It all starts with a call or email to DeLucia Construction.
The most popular and least expensive option. This wood is always used for the deck framing, and often used for decking and railings. The only advantage is its resistance to decay. The downside is it requires annual maintenance, and the decking and railings are prone to splitting, splintering and generally not weathering well.

I had a thought to change my deck, overlooking my woods-surrounded yard, into a 4-season sunroom. Without professional drawings or formal designs, Dean guided me through the entire process with vision and experience (and a lot of patience), resulting in a dream room and surrounding deck which is exactly as I had envisioned it. He is a very talented craftsman who is entirely dependable and communicative with no-cutting-corners high standards and long-days/few breaks old-school work ethics. I cannot recommend him more highly! In short, if you can dream it, Dean can create it.
