We have been in our Taylorbilt "custom" home for almost 2 years to the day. What an ordeal. We have had a leaking basement walkout double door since almost the first day we moved in and Taylorbilt has neglected to fix or offer a remedy since day 1, leaks every time it rains. Have had 3 fire pump/
sprinkler failures (this seems resolved, knock on wood), at least 4 issues with HVAC requiring service calls, including faulty wiring when we moved in, paint so watered down you can't touch it without a chalk residue, drywall finishing shoddy, bathroom sink backsplash separating from the

Taylorbilt has been on top of everything from our very first email inquiring to see if they could build us a house within our budget. After the first email, we met and discussed what we were looking for an immediately we knew that this is who we wanted to build our forever home! My husband and I went into this never building a house before so we were a bit intimidated. Cyndi put our minds at ease and is very responsive to any questions we have. Building our home with Taylorbilt was a great experience. Both Taylor and Cyndi helped us find an exceptional lot on which to build. As a young couple looking to build their first home, we never felt taken advantage of. Cyndi and Taylor were very accommodating to our requests and were so knowledgeable throughout the entire process. They were very conscientious of our budget (something we found to be uncommon when interviewing other builders) and never made us feel inadequate for keeping to a tight budget. We have had an excellent experience working with Taylorbilt Homes. Cyndi is incredibly knowledgeable and takes your budget into consideration, which was very important for us. We also liked the fact that they work with local businesses/subcontractors and have been for 20+ years. Building a home can be a very stressful and expensive time but Taylorbilt has made it seamless and enjoyable and the quality of craftsmanship and supplies has exceeded our expectations. We selected Taylorbilt to construct our home based on the quality of workmanship promised and their desire to work to meet every need we had. Our biggest concern was staying in budget, and that was their top priority, but quality was never compromised. Through the entire process there was only one major concern with quality and it's affect on durability long term, Taylorbilt mitigated the problem with an elegant solution without an affect on final cost.
