CMT Tree Service is a division of CMT Professional Services, LLC. CMT has been serving the region since 1985. The president, Chris Dowd, an ISA Certified Arborist. Our services include the entire spectrum of tree work, including: Tree pruning, tree removal, stump grinding, debris removal, lot clearing, tree planting, vegetation control, spraying/pest control (pine beetles, etc.), grinding and recycling brush.
We also pride ourselves on our 24 hour emergency service. We have crews available night and day dispatched by radio and ready to handle any tree situation. Our estimates are FREE, Our PRICES are reasonable and Our SERVICE is uncommon.

Services
Tree pruning, removal, diagnosis, pest control, fertilizing, emergency storm damage, stump grinding, debris removal, and much more. We grind tree and other green waste both at our facility and we contract grind off site. We will grind landfills, construction sites, land clearing sites and storm recovery sites.

A large Sweetgum tree landed on our house from Hurricane Sally. Our insurance company hired CMT to remove the tree. They arrived with a gigantic crane truck and a team of true professionals. They are experts at what they do and did a great job. They removed the large tree using the crane without causing further damage. They cleaned up the limbs and leaves. Then, they did a great job of tarping the house. The insurance company paid them so I do not know about their prices. Their quality is excellent!

We got a great estimate from Chris and had his company remove two large trees and a very large branch overhanging our home from a third tree. His crew was friendly, courteous, and professional! Their work was fantastic and their clean up was excellent!! I highly recommend Chris Dowd and his company, CMT Tree Service!

They were a no show for an estimate to remove 7 trees from around my home. I called the following 2 days before someone answered to say they were out of town and swamped with work.. There was no thought on their part to apologize for my lost time or for not returning my calls. If this is how they run a business then I don't want them around my home doing dangerous work. I will try elsewhere.
