Owner comes to our house and gives us an estimate of $800. He was really nice and assured us he had a full time crew of professional movers and a large truck that would easily fit all our belongings. He said he never uses day laborers.
On the day of the move a small box truck shows up at 0930 AM, the driver a 75 year old guy was the only employee and all he did was drive. The other 2 were day laborers and were extremely unhealthy looking and appeared to be strung out. They just piled and stacked our stuff damaging a lot of it (they were NOT) professional movers.
They only got half our stuff in

The business keeps removing my review because it’s truth and I have pics LOL Check the DMV for their expired Certificate people.
At the time of my move this company was NOT LICENSED/CERTIFIED by the Texas DMV to be moving furniture.
PLEASE CHECK THE TEXAS TRUCK STOP DMV IN ORDER TO SEE IF MOVING COMPANIES ARE LICENSED
Mid Cities Movers certificate had EXPIRED months before my move, they didn’t say anything about it and I didn’t find out until I was about to sue them for damaging my merchandise. (Almost 3500 in damages)

I have used Mid Cities Movers a couple of times to move my medical office. They were referred by a physician friend who had used them. They were excellent! Right on time! Hard working! Best moves I have ever experienced. I have referred them to others, including my son, who just used them too. They are at the top of my list in the event I need to move again.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. Charged me for FOUR HOURS to move a small one bedroom apartment 6 minutes down the street, I don't even have appliances or many belongings. Prepare to PAY for LOUSY SERVICE. Late, rude, disrespectful, complained the whole time, broke my coffee table, broke my TV stand, broke railing on the stairs, stopped for a snack, moved as slow as possible, took smoke breaks, used my toilet and didn't flush, tried to light a cigarette in my new house. My daughter and I were even carrying boxes ourselves because they were so slow. I felt like I needed a few showers after they left. PLEASE

Use this moving company at your own risk! I scheduled a move a day prior to my move date and the rates sounded reasonable. My move was scheduled between 12pm-2pm The day of my move I get a call from the manager asking if they could come earlier in the morning like right now because they had a cancellation. I told him I wasnt ready & needed to keep the agreed time. About 30 minutes later the manager calls back & says they can't complete the move today because he's the only one & had no other movers to help him. Then he tried to make it seem like it was my fault because they could of completed the

We used this company to move my wife and I from our apartment to our new house. ABSOLUTELY AWFUL EXPERIENCE! First, two of the shadiest looking guys ever drive up to our place. Then, in an hour into the move, one guy WALKS OFF THE JOB COMPLETELY!!!
My wife called the owner of the company and his response was, "I don't know what you want me to do about it. I'm with my family right now so we can come back in the morning once I've found another guy." At this point I started helping the remaining mover because, as we explained to the owner, we had to be out of our apartment bc our lease was up...
