Richard started his own construction business in 1985 in Maryland. In an effort to stay close to their families, Richard and his wife Tracey relocated the construction business to Beaver County, Pennsylvania in 1988 after the birth of their first child. In 1984, Richard and Tracey Chiappetta started Chip's Construction Corporation in Maryland.
By adding a corner sink, removing a partial wall and extending the counter under the window, we added 10 feet of counter area along with a seating area over a new knee wall. Had a replacement countertop (upscale formica ) which looks like stone. They did a template first and then made the countertop. The outcome was excellent -- looks fantastic. The cost was quite reasonable and $400 less than another quote. They reused my sink -- it was like new -- another vendor insisted that all sinks had to be replaced. The installation, including removal and replacing the sink and fixtures was 2 1/2 hr. Great job. Highly recommended.
