The storefront door of my business was continuously slamming shut due to a problem with my concealed door closer (which I later found out was because of an oil leak). They came out with very short notice when my businesses door hinges rusted out. They tried every trick in the book to get our front door fixed and after a short while, we were back up and operating.
I would have had to close my business for the day if they weren’t able to fix our problem.
Any door issues I have in the future… I’m calling this place!

I really wanted a long term relationship with NYC Doors and More, as we have had trouble finding reliable and consistent contractors for our building's ongoing door needs (old building, landmarked, lots of recurring issues!) but instead I never even got out of the gate with them. After paying them a deposit before scheduling (which is not indicated as being non-refundable on anything we signed), our Super needed to take time off for some medical issues. I told Guy, the owner, that when we were ready to schedule, I'd be back in touch. Meanwhile we had some other work done and the contractor

My co-op used them to replace a broken door closer. Guy, the owner was extremely responsive and prompt in coming out for an estimate and completing the work. They also followed up and resolved our issue within 24 hours when we decided we needed a little adjustment to the action of our closer, a couple weeks after installation. Would definitely use them again for future door work. Recommended!

Guy and his team were great! They came within an hour of calling and checked out the situation. They were able to provide a solution vs. multiple other vendors I reached out to who told me it was not possible to fix my door. They provided a reasonable quote and showed up on time to do the job. The were very polite and considerate of keeping my place tidy while working. Highly recommend this company.

The door to our restaurant was not closing properly as there was an old pivot hinge on it. We called NYC Doors and More to see if they could fix it. After sending some pictures of the problem they came by the restaurant. They explained exactly what the problem was and how they would go about fixing it. They offered a great long term solution to fix the door. Which was to put a long hinge running most of the length of the door. Appreciate the care they took and the excellent service. Would recommend them to anyone looking to get their door fixed!
