Hello, My name is Richard Clayton and I am the owner of Beechnut tree Service. I have been a tree care Professional since 1998 when I started working for the city of Clearwater in their Urban Forestry Division. I received my Arborist certification from the International society of Arboriculture in 2001, I have also taken extensive classes in tree climbing, and have competed in various tree climbing competitions here in Florida.

TREE SERVICES VS TREE HACKS!StandardThe other day one of my customers told me about these guys that were knocking on doors in his neighborhood offering to trim his Palm trees for almost half what I charge him. of course he said no thank you but it made me think of another client that said she also had a fellow come to her door and told her she needed to remove her oak tree because it had Mistletoe in a few spots.

Richard came to our home to cut down a tree that was too close to our house. He has done a lot of work for us cleaning up trees and shrubs. He is such personable guy! Very friendly, shows up on time, professional and does such a great job cleaning up making our home look great! Thank you so much Richard for your hard work!

We recently called Beechnut Tree Service seeking first an arborist to look at the health of our trees and to make suggestions for keeping them healthy and to make trimming suggestions. We were happy with the information that Richard Clayton gave us and decided to hire Beechnut to also do the trimming. They did an excellent job, were careful with our other plants and left the yard clean. We'll definitely use them in the future.

I highly recommend Richard from Beechnut Tree Care. He has been taking care of all of the trees and bushes in my yard for a few years now and I am very happy with the services he has provided-tree trimming, dead bush and dead tree limb removal, removing and/or replanting trees that began growing in the bushes, and fertilizing. Richard is animal friendly and has worked around many bird and squirrel nests in my trees and bushes. Several of our palms were not looking good so I called Beechnut and spoke to Richard who was very helpful. He came out the next day, assessed the trees and started a feeding program. We also had him move a young palm which had outgrown its location. His prices are very reasonable and it's evident that Richard knows and loves what he is doing. He even followed up with me several times to check on the progress of the trees! Would definitely recommend his services.

I have used Beechnut Tree Care for several years. Our lot is over an acre and mostly wooded, so maintenance, such as trimming and removal is ongoing. I tried several "wannabees" before I selected Rich Clayton, and haven't looked back. Rich Clayton is a certified Arborist and personally estimates all jobs. I've found Beechnut to be consistently professional, honest, reasonable, reliable and extremely helpful in diagnosing the various condition(s) of the variety of trees on my property.
