Pre emergent is applied to the lawn to stop the germination of weed seeds and kill weed seedlings. Pre emergent is effective for around 90 days and too much pre emergent can damage your grass. Pre emergent makes no differentiation between wanted seeds (flowers or fescue) and weed seeds. It is important, therefore, to notify us if you plan to seed your lawn.

I have used a couple other lawn care services over the years and Safari is the one that has been able to make my yard look like I wanted it to. I had a minor problem with some type of weed in one small area of my yard and after I notified them, it was treated within 24 hours and did the trick.

In 3 short months, our backyard transformed from being an eyesore to one of pride. Numerous weeds had taken over a weak bermuda turf. We were not expecting to have an attractive yard back until next season. Not only are we pleased with the results, Safari's staff and owner have been very courteous and helpful since we first placed our order. We can validate their catchphrase "The Hunt is Over!". I've been using Safari for 3 years now (maybe longer) after having tried 4 other services. Safari has kept my yard consistently weed free and looking better than all of the others. They have a schedule and stick to it. The others showed up at random times. And, Safari technicians are always helpful, polite and friendly. I'm very happy with Safari.

Well I've been with Safari for over a year and expected better. I had to dig many weeds out of my back yard last summer despite complaining to the office and the technician several times. This year they came and did the first treatment and I could see no evidence of them being here. Additionally I had paid for an entire year last year to get the discounted rate vs paying by the month. After this first visit this year I get a bill for $45 without being offered the discounted rate. Poor results and poor service.

Started using Safari this spring after having True Green for 3 years and our lawn looks better after a few months with Safari then it ever did with true green. Weeds and grasses that True Green said where tough to get rid of are gone. They always call to let us know their coming and always spot weed every time. They have been great.
