This guy is awesome!! My car door wouldn't close because I had slammed too hard and it messed up the latch. After calling other locksmiths they either didn't work on cars or they said they had to change my lock all together. It says starting price was $150 plus a $20 service charge. And then they didn't even have the right part anyway!
So then this gentleman just called me back and walked me through the process of fixing the latch myself via FaceTime and didn't charge me a dime. He also pointed out that other locksmiths would charge me an arm and leg and hope I didn't

We have an older house (1936), and had some trouble with locks on a pair of security doors that were 50+ years old. The owner, Evan, was able to repair one (he replaced the other, which "died on the operating table") and get our house back in working order really quickly.
He really knows his stuff, being the second generation of a family-owned business that has two more generations coming up, either practicing or learning the trade.
He was personable, thorough, tidy, and totally professional. If I could give him six stars, I would. I recommend this business 110%.

Spoke with the owner, who was able to come to my home and fix the problem within 30 minutes. He immediately saw what caused the problem and was finished in about twenty minutes. Honestly, I think it was less than that, but we chatted for a few about the current state of the world.
Due to COVID, payment was simple and fast through a payment app. I'm very happy with the service and I will definitely call Evans Locksmith again!

Junior is a nice older man and is skilled. However just be careful of the upselling, he offered me thicker strike plates and sold me on security as the reason to use his plates but he never told me it would be $75 more until after they were installed and all the work was done. I really felt ripped off the plates are about $5 each at home depot. Also he doesnt bother to drill pilot holes in the wood he just screws directly and well it shows in the work see pic. I was quoted $300 on the phone and ended up paying $425. When he arrives at your home ask for a final quote.

I contacted Evan's Locksmith at 2:30AM when I lost my keys. A lot of people advertise 24 hour service and then when you really need them they are not available, it goes to voicemail or they charge an extra "fee" on top of the normal "fees"!! The guy came out quicker than his estimated time and even though it was cold, he was courteous and quick. The next day I referred them to my neighbor during the day and they were just as clean and courteous. I would definitely use them again.
