R.C. Nielson & Son Inc, was founded back in 1923 by Danish immigrant, Rudolph C. Nielson. A carpenter and builder by trade, Rudolph and his family settled in the Cleveland area and found employment with a well known department store. Working on store displays and window designs, soon became a competition between the larger stores.
