If I could I give this company zero stars, I would. We waited for 6 weeks for Wes F to provide a bid for an extensive remodeling job in Culver City, only to have him finally contact my architect and say he was no longer interested in bidding. This is why general contractors get the reputation that they do. If he wasn't interested in the job (or never planned on seriously bidding) then why make us wait for 6 weeks, why not have the common decency to say no thank you up front. Highly unethical.

So it's coming up on 4 years since Wes remodeled my master bath, and I recently noticed the "floating" counter-top had pulled away from the wall 1/2" ... I assumed it just needed to be reattached more firmly with a couple more screws, but actually the back was still firmly attached to the wall, as it should be, and the sides of the cabinet were pulling away from the back ... the cabinet itself was literally coming apart, not simply detaching from the wall ... (BTW, I was the one who picked out the cabinets, not Wes) ... Wes' guys removed the entire cabinet and countertop

We used Wes and his Team to do a complete gut renovation on our home built in 1949. Wes was very easy to communicate with and met deadlines in a timely manner. His subs and foremen were amazing! As a woman, I was not sure about being on the construction site and if I would feel comfortable, but the workers were so nice, friendly and I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to communicate with them.

Wes, re surfaced our balcony in Manhattan Beach and did a fantastic job. Wes understood exactly what we wanted to achieve, recommended the materials and tiles best suited for the beach/weather environment and explained every stage of the work process so we could make informed decisions and know exactly what to expect. His crew is hardworking and good at what they do. Wes is so honest and really takes his work personally, he has high standards and won't compromise on quality of his work. My husband and I decided to hire Wes and his team to remodel our bathroom. Its been a while and I wish I would have put up this review a long time ago but doesn't change the fact that I'm still very happy with how my bathroom turned out. They are very professional and made sure that they stuck by the time frame they told us for completing the remodel. They also gave us a great price. We had waited along time to Re model our 1956 kitchen, if we had known how easy Wes would make the process we would have acted sooner! Wes and his fabulous team gave us our dream kitchen. They also created a lovely front courtyard. All of this required moving walls, reinforcing footings, answering all of my continual questions along with all the "regular" things like cabinets, electrical, new floors etc, etc.. I highly recommend Wes and his team. i had to have a total "senior" bathroom remodel for Dad done quickly. Wes walked me through every step of the decision process and was able to create an amazing senior bathroom. Wes and his guys finished on time and on budget. When Wes gives you a price.... that is the price you will pay...he doesn't underbid and then play games with you. His guys worked for two weeks straight...five days a week to get the job done. It was not an easy job and everyone in the family is just amazed at the results. I look like a genius for hiring him.

This is my first review on Yelp, and it's not mere coincidence that I decided to spend some of my very limited free time to share my thoughts about Wes Farnsworth. First and foremost, I am an engineer by trade, so my training has inherently made me very detail-conscious and I am admittedly as difficult a client to please as any--I'm sure Wes can attest to that. I didn't make it easy on him and his team with my demands and constant scrutiny during the process. I moved into a 1-bdroom condo that had extremely strict rules and regulations for remodeling under the HOA guidelines.

We own a duplex and we needed two bathrooms remodeled. We had a bad history with contractors until we met Wes. I am sure many of you out there have had issues with contractors not calling you back, or doing what they say were going to do or showing up and working a full day. You will have none of those issues with Wes.

I contracted with Wes, of W Farnsworth Builders last month, to do some renovation (mostly painting) on a condo I recently purchased in Tarzana, which I plan to rent out. I've contracted for renovation services several times before, including working with contractors renovating commercial hotels. In my experience, if you don't have 'direct' experience, just by doing your homework and checking some customer references, you can usually avoid the 'problem' contractors. What's left, is a group of mostly proficient professionals that can get the job done satisfactorily

I had a project installing a shed in my backyard, Wes has done a great job according to my specific requirement(shed foundation/concrete piers). Also although the assembly take longer than the original planned, he is sticking with the original estimate. 100% satisfication guarateed. He is polite, punctual as well.
