We are a full service tree care company servicing Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania & Locust Grove since 2005. When you see a tree, you don't often think about the behind-the-scenes maintenance that goes into making it aesthetically pleasing and keeping it healthy. Chad & his crew made quick work of our dead oak tree. It came down in less than 2 hours and they removed all debris out of the backyard. I highly recommend their service and look forward to working with them again in the near future to remove two more trees. Chad and his crew were quick, on time with a great price: I would easily recommend them to anyone.

Top Notch is just that.... I used the company several years ago to clear several trees from the property, but this time I had an emergency situation with a tree on my rooftop. Chad was quick to respond, quick to review, and quick to remove the tree so I would not have any further issues; and there was another winter storm on the way but Chad made sure to get the current tree problem taken care of before the next storm hit. Without any reservation I would recommend TOP NOTCH to anyone with a tree problem.

Top Notch Tree Service was extremely professional during the entirety of my experience. I had multiple trees split due to the heavy snow we received a few weeks ago. Chad and his team arrived promptly on time and worked tirelessly and efficiently until the job was completed. They safely removed multiple trees as well as trimmed a number of hanging branches. Once they were finished, they cleared the area of any leftover debris and left my yard very clean. I highly recommend Top Notch for your tree removal needs!

Top Notch Tree Service is absolutely the best at what they do. They are professional, realizable, and fair with pricing. We have done business with them for tree trimming, tree removal, and stump grinding and by the time they are done they clean up so well, it’s as if they were never there. They are careful not to damage anything surrounding the area they are working and treat the property as if it were their own. The company owner, Chad, gives fair pricing, is knowledgeable, personable, and a simply trustworthy person. I highly recommend. We won’t be doing business with anyone else.

Top Notch was awesome! We even went 8 weeks between the consultation and the actually tree trimming and they were so gracious to schedule with us even after us delaying. They were on time and finished within an hour. We live in a townhome neighborhood so we are right on other peoples homes. They were super careful and got the job done. Prices were super reasonable and they were super professional!

My parents used Top Notch recently and are very satisfied. Chad and his team worked safely , efficiently, and were very professional. They did a wonderful job of grinding the stumps and cleaning up afterwards. The entire team was personable and answered all questions. My parents will use them again and highly recommend! Top Notch absolutely lives up to their name! Chad and his crew are the BEST tree service that we have worked with by far. We had 10 big old oaks that needed to be taken down , hauled away and the stumps removed. These guys showed up early, cut down some huge trees without tearing up the backyard, ground up the stumps and left the property clear of all debris. It looks fantastic! All of this at a very reasonable price. It was such a welcome surprise to find a company that does what they say they will do and then some- if you want the best- call Top Notch, they really deserve 10 stars.

Chad and his team came out after the tornado-like storm that came through part of Fredericksburg recently. We still had the top of a tree blocking part of our driveway that we just didn't have time to take care of and we just don't have the equipment to haul away.
They cleaned that up, trimmed several large hanging limbs (from some very tall oaks), and cleaned up all the debris from the yard.
Chad's team wears a uniform and protective gear, something you don't always see. We were completely confident that our property was safe and secure. It's obvious he takes care of his team and his equipment

I had Top Notch Tree Service remove 1 tree and part of a second tree in my backyard. My backyard is fenced in with neighbors on both sides also with fences, so it is a tight space. Chad was very responsive and went over what would be done. Everything was done very professionally and they left the space very clean (they picked up all the debris, they even removed some branches I had piled from trimming a different tree!) I would recommend Top Notch if you are looking to have a tree removed.

We had a very large tree removed and the stump ground after. We were nervous about it due to how close it was to our house but Chad's team was extremely impressive with their level of skill and the care they took removing the tree. We will be recommend Top Notch to anyone that asks and will definitely have them back to do some trimming for us in the fall. I really can't say enough good things about our experience with them.
