South Georgia Home President, Keith Blaschke, feels right at home building homes for other people. He grew up on construction sites watching his dad wire new homes as an electrician. Before becoming a builder, Keith worked as a home lender at an Atlanta-based financial service company where he gained in-valuable insight into the homeowner's perspective in the purchasing process.
While this was a rewarding experience, he wanted to be more hands-on in getting people into their own homes. Keith started working with a certified builder and then joined in with several local builders to construct new homes in one of Columbia County's fastest growing neighborhoods. After becoming licensed and accredited as a builder in 2006, South Georgia Homes was born.

Bought my house in 2018 never had a walk through not a single door in this house closes. I have had to change all the screws in every single door because they were so short. My mantel is held on by 2 nails and is sagging. The stairs are cut off short on the sides with staples sticking out which my children have cut their heels on. The cabinets the refrigerator sits in is so off square and too small it has damaged the refrigerator. South Ga refused to fix anything from the home inspection until I threatened to back out. What a joke the overall quality of this house is a joke. I have lived in 3 brand

Been in our South Georgia home for 9 months now. No issues and overall pretty happy with the home. Couple of things I would change like the builders grade carpet in the bedrooms doesn't seem like it will hold up for too many years but nothing major. The biggest issue I have to date is a couple of corners of my lot don't drain well. My A/C area is constantly soaked from the condensation tube that drains out to the yard, but that can be solved fairly easily and not a big issue. Overall we are happy to date with the quality, style of the home.
