I would not recommend American Fence to anyone. They had terrible communication and told us we were going to have the fence attached with screws then used nails.
We got quotes for a 5ft cedar fence with inch gaps from 4 fence places, and asked all of them if they used metal posts and screwed boards on, so we’d get a great fence that lasts. Jim said they did (or we would have skipped him) and had a lower price than the other fence places that used metal posts and screws. We put down a deposit and don’t hear anything for 2 months. Texts and emails took up to a week to get responses through the

Our experience was impeccable. After researching and having in-person estimates with three local companies, American Fence stood out for their professionalism, knowledge, and competitive pricing.
Great communication. My calls were always returned in less than 5 hours. The installation was efficient and professional. The guys who put the fence in were friendly and great with our kids and our dogs. All around fantastic local, family owned business!

The fence the installed looks great. It was delayed due to weather, but they did get it done prior to winter really setting in., and they were the cheapest bid we received. When delayed due to weather It did take 3 calls/voicemails and an email in order for them to respond though, communication leaves something to be desired to say the least. And the installer will talk poorly of you to others (he thought my dad was someone working on my house as well and talked poorly of me) when you do expect a response. But, the bottom line is that my fence is in and it looks nice.

American Fence had the lowest price in town so that is why we decided to go with them for our backyard. They were able to get us in quickly and did quick work.
A few problems however. I asked them to make sure my fence was down to the level of the ground as I have small dogs and I didn't want them to get under the fence. Unfortunately, they left almost 6 inches in places and now I have a bunch of wood stacking up around my fence to keep my dogs in my own yard and other dogs out.
I have a handful of boards that are bowing and cracking. I blame the wood and not the company on this. But it needs
