In August my husband passed away. I love my home and want to stay in my house, but I don’t know anything about taking care of the yard. That is something my husband always did. My daughter suggested I call Cory’s Lawn Service. They came out and got the lawn back in shape, repaired my sprinkling system and shut the water off for the winter. When my husband could no longer care for our yards, we hired Cory's Landscaping to mow, fertilize, help with the sprinkler repair and, just recently, added pruning to our needs. They have a 3-tier price structure depending on timing for when they come to clear snow. Vary fair feature. Wish that had been available in Truckee when we lived there years ago.

Don't even look anywhere else. They have been taking care of my property for the last year. They do a remarkable job. The administrative staff is always prompt to return emails or calls. They are so reliable! When they say they are coming, they are really coming. I wish all contractors were like that! They were able to get a fall clean up scheduled in such a tight time frame for me.

Started out great for my father's home in Reno. Service definitely has gone downhill recently though it seems.
The crew goes through the motions, shows up, mows the lawn and leaves. They don't seem to care about the health of the lawn or how it looks, however. Our lawn got so bad-looking that we received a warning from the homeowners association that they were going to fine us.
I asked Corey's crew to please send someone to see what they could do about the state of the lawn. There was no follow-up and nobody ever showed. Sadly, after all of this time, we had to just change services

At first I was impressed with their efficiency (much of it done online) but they flaked out on our scheduled appointment to turn on my drip irrigation. They didn't call, they just sent a new appointment email later that night for a new appointment the following Wednesday. This was after I had been very clear with them when making the first appointment that I was leaving town for two weeks and I didn't want my plants to die while I was going to be away. We hired this company last year for aeration on our front and back lawn. Last year, they broke FIVE sprinkler heads so we were NOT going to use them this year. This year however, in March, they came unannounced while we were out and did another service. When we called, they told us that we had been placed on an, "annual service plan," WITHOUT our consent. After turning on our water, we found that this year they had broken THREE sprinkler heads. As if that wasn't enough, they TORE UP our front lawn. Wow! I am still always amazed at the lack in customer service these days. I received a quote from Cory's lawn service based on a satellite image of my property. My property has been professionally landscaped since these satellite images and I tried explaining this to the person on the phone. The quote was for over 6,000 square feet of property to have weed pre-emergent placed, which is not even close to the areas I would need this done. I was quoted almost $700 for non paved areas. I would rate Cory's this way:

Cory's will take care of your lawn extremely well - doing fertilizing and weed control promptly. Their on-site staff is absolutely top notch.
But..
I hope you never need to reach them, because during the growing season it's virtually impossible to speak to a live person and emails get answered only sporadically.

I used these guys for a year for my rental home monthly and my other home as needed. I included pictures of the rental property so you have an idea of landscaping. First off 3 stars because they kept my property taken care of and as far as doing a good job I am 100% satisfied. However, there was a lot of billing confusion between my property and the rental. We called Cory's after purchasing a home in Sparks that had been vacant for most of the year. The yard was completely overrun with weeds. All the landscaping had terrible overgrowth and the bushes were out of control. Cory's did a full cleanup, mowing, fertilizer, and weed control spraying over a few different visits. They did phenomenal! You can't even tell it's the same place!!

Cory’s Lawn Service has been a godsend for us! We have two very young children and it’s been really hard to manage our yard. The crew at Cory’s are very professional, polite and most importantly-INSANELY hardworking! The two of them cleaned up our front and backyard in less than 5 hours - I couldn’t have even made a dent in that amount of time. I think they truly care about our property and would highly recommend them! We also use them for a weekly lawn service and they always show up when they say they are going to and do a great job. Cory's is great! We have a small patch of grass in our front yard and mowing it became enough of an inconvenience that we finally decided to outsource the job. I would like to say that I received excellent service with Cory's Lawn Service. Fransico and his team did an amazing job of trimming, mowing etc. I had 8 years of over grown shrubs and bushes. They descended onto my property like it was the beach at Normandy and in a few hours it looked good as new.
I have had some bad experiences with some of the landscaping companies in the past and was very hesitant to call another service. My sister recomended them and I am so happy I did. Thank you so much I am so pleased with the 5 star service. Keep up the great work guy's!
