He is devoted to not only building a charming home, but is also committed to building one that is efficient. Ron first had a passion to build homes in 1995, when he built his first home. He and his wife, Amy, founded ARK Builders in 1998. The ARK in ARK Builders are their children's initials: Andrew, (Ronald) Blake and Kelsey.

Ron grew up in Mobile, Alabama but has called the Eastern Shore home since 1991. He has an AS in Computer Science. His passion for building began in 1991 when he was exposed to the home building field through his position as Vice President of Sales at Quality Alarm Systems in Pensacola, Florida. Ron's passion and energy to design and build homes is what sets him apart from the rest.
A Fortified Home is one in which you add muscle to how it is engineered and built using very specific upgrades which help lessen the destruction which can occur from specific natural threats. There are three levels of designation, Bronze, Silver and Gold that build on each other. This lets you choose your goals, budget and level of protection.
