I confirmed a 2pm home visit for a moving estimate and took an afternoon off work at the hospital to be present. The driver texted at 1pm to ask if I still wanted the visit today to which I replied immediately only to be told he had decided to move on to RI appointments for the day and was unavailable. I certainly will not entrust moving my belongings with such an unprofessional company.

Working with Rainbow Movers was fantastic! We were already committed to another moving company when a friend referred me to Rainbow. I had a virtual consultation and was so impressed by how thorough they were… and the added customer service support that we switched. The crew that moved us was so awesome! They worked quickly and efficiently through a heat wave. There was concern at one point the truck would not fit our adtl storage unit, but the customer service team and crew were fantastic keeping us informed the whole time and working through the best solution with us. I used Rainbow movers to pack some of my awkward items (TV, expensive vases and artwork), the rest I packed myself. Alex led the team that came to my house to pack up the truck. He and his 2 workers (I believe Matt and Connor) were fantastic. They had to move a baby grand piano. They took such care of my property I was so pleased. Rainbow stored my property for 3 months . I had requested Alex make the trip to NC to bring my property and put my piano back together. Erin was great and sent him down with my stuff. We got three quotes for our instate move and storage. Carl was super friendly and helpful during the walk-thru. The quote was the best of all three companies.
Today was our moving day and John, Josh and Angel were there exactly when we were told they’d show up. They were very professional, extremely courteous and careful with our items!
So far so good! Our items are in storage for 6-7 weeks so I’ll be back to leave a review on the other end of our move!

These people do not care. We used them as a third party to pick up a large package. We scheduled the pick up with them and asked them to reschedule as we would not be home. They insisted that we could leave the package outside instead of rescheduling and they would leave us a note verifying that they would pick up the package. I thought that is great (how naive am I).

I arrived back home and found no note and about a $1,000 worth of damage to my fence. My neighbor confirmed that a large truck hit my fence and the vendor confirmed that the item had been returned.

ABSOLUTE CROOKS!!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Quoted my parents $15,000 to move from Plymouth, MA to Texas and the last piece of paperwork they signed stated $14,700. Truck arrives in Texas and they said it was more than they expected and said it's now $21,000. Said if they didn't pay it they would put their stuff in storage. While my parents literally have the truck waiting outside their new home... They tried to call and get in contact with the company but surprise, surprise NO ONE ANSWERED. Instead they told the driver to tell my parents to pay or they were to leave and drop the stuff

I never really write reviews but if I could give zero stars, I would. The WORST customer service experience ever! If you are using their service, BE PREPARED to see the verbal promises made to be NOT kept. I bought a mattress and a base on 7/1/18 through local Tempur-Pedic store in MA and they used this service so I had no choice. TP said that this delivery company will get in touch with me in 1-2 weeks when the items arrive at their warehouse (closer to 2 weeks with a holiday being in the middle of the week) to schedule a delivery day/time. No one called by the end of 2 weeks so I checked with

This is the worst moving company that I have ever dealt with. They are unprepared, unprofessional
and completely inept! I had a refrigerator that had to be replaced with a new one. Rainbow movers did not come with any tools. When they disconnected the water line, it was not shut off prior to the disconnect. There was water all over my kitchen!! When they pushed in my new refrigerator, they scraped my laminate floor and my wall. There is also a gauge taken out of the wall! They had no tools to put the new refrigerator together. Horrible customer service and family owned so they all rely on one another for a paycheck. Sister Erin "owns" the company: brother Jim "sells" and nephews move. Again!!! Buyer beware. They do not follow through w their "promises" and they literally ghost you on the other end. They say they will wrap and pack your things: they wrapped my plastic laundry basket but neglected to wrap any of our outdoor furniture which resulted in damage. I will be reporting rainbow to the better business bureau in MA and I suggest you all do as well.

I ordered a mattress from purple mattress and they outsource their delivery to rainbow movers. Rainbow called me twice Friday to confirm they would deliver on Saturday (yesterday) any time between 2p and 6p. Fine. So I set up my new bed frame and pushed my old mattress into the hallway. 6p rolls around and where's my mattress? I don't know. Did anyone call me to say the delivery would be late or postponed? No. Did I call Rainbow a dozen times without a response? Yes. Did I have to sleep on the couch last night? Yes. Now I have pretty bad health problems and severe chronic pain. I CANNOT

We used Rainbow Movers to move my family member to an assisted living and Erin was so accommodating and easy to work with in terms of setting up everything. The three guys who did the actual move were polite, knowledgable and did an amazing job of packing up everything from one place to the other. I would highly recommend Rainbow Movers!

I've been waiting for my bed to be delivered for over two weeks, and yet, they keep rescheduling my delivery! Completely unacceptable service. I was forced to use them through Wayfair, but if you have the choice, use someone else!

Rainbow/North American Van Lines helped me move this summer from Boston to Los Angeles. Here are the positives and room-for-improvements for this company:
Positives:
1. The estimator was very accurate in counting the items and estimating the number of boxes. He was very fast, very professional, and no-nonsense.
2. The paperwork was relatively easy.
3. The pricing was fair (but still I felt it was on the expensive side).
4. The timing estimate for the move was accurate. Movers picked up and delivered on time.
5. Movers behaved very professionally.

This was a painless move cross-country with rainbow movers. They were prompt, professional, accommodating and available for communication whenever i needed them. From the guy who came over for the initial quote to the dispatch gal who kept me informed about our eta for delivery; they all took pride in their work and it showed.
We have moved several times and this was our first time using north american van lines. We have had a couple of disgruntled drivers with other companies, and if you have moved before you know this can be hel!!

Claudia was spectacular! She explained everything fully, and brought us used boxes, packing paper & tape twice! Sarah took care of all of the paperwork very thoroughly & professionally. Wallt & Skip did an incredible job packing! Overall, it's been the best moving experience we've ever had in 35 yrs & 8 moves.

This company is, BY FAR, one of the worst I have ever dealt with. They were used by Restoration Hardware for a fairly large delivery order. They canceled the first time they were supposed to come, called 7 TIMES that week to reschedule because they had failed to write down the date I gave them the first time.

When they came back that Saturday, they were 2 hours late for their window, and obviously failed to call to tell me they'd be late. They didn't bring in the slipcover to my chair, and after calling the delivery truck, they said they found

I created a Yelp account specifically to review Rainbow Movers to warn others not to use them.

I had a corporate cross country move through North American. Their local vendor was Rainbow, so I had little choice in the matter. Things started off well--Jim came out and gave me a quote and was very nice and knowledgeable. I told Jim that we wanted the movers to pack some of our electronics and other breakable items, so he made a note of them so the movers could bring supplies.
