UNIT COMPANY (UNIT) is an Alaskan owned company that was formed in 1977 to perform design-build construction work for the Carr Gottstein Corporation. Since our inception, we have grown into one of the largest Alaskan general contractors that operate both on and off the road systems, performing work for a mixture of public and private clients.
Contrary to what some in the community believed was not possible, the UNIT COMPANY and the subcontractors on the project completed the project in seven months, and the Russian Jack students were back together in the new school in less than eleven months time from the fire that destroyed their original school.
This position will be responsible for providing Site Safety and Health for a construction site located at JBER-Elmendorf, Alaska.
