I used Dynomite Floors several years ago when I had my stairs and upstairs landing renovated.
The wood stairs were very beat up from years of carpeting and staples. These guys did a terrific job of restoring the oak stair treads to beautiful condition. They also stand my new wood railings and newel posts beautifully. That was about 6 years ago and the stairs are still in great shape with no wear.

I have only the nicest things to say about Mike and his team. They refinished the original hardwood floors in put 1930s bungalow. Some of the flooring was in exceedingly poor condition. Nonetheless, after they sanded, repaired and refinished the floors, the wood looked amazing and was almost like new. Additionally, his price was substantially less than other contractors we recieved quotes from. He was able to start mere days after we contacted him. I would absolutely recommend his services to anyone.

Dynomite Floors replaced, stained and coated our bedroom floor. They use a large team of craftspeople - some to deliver materials and cart away old flooring and carpeting, some to install flooring and molding and move furniture, and others to do the staining and coating. All staff were polite and efficient and very good at their jobs.
The crews all arrived on schedule and wore masks at our request. They worked quickly and efficiently, thus minimizing the time needed to complete the job, which is important for any flooring job.
The results were very good – perfect staining and expertly installed

Dynamite floors did an amazing job refinishing our oak floors. Mike was great from initial estimate through completion of our job. Diego and his crew went above and beyond to finish our job on schedule to bail me out of a delay caused by a separate contractor. A+++++. If looking for a dependable contractor in LI to do the job right Mike is your guy.

Mike did the floors in our home and the work has been deemed inferior by his insurance company. An engineer report indicated the barrier used did not follow plans. I complained and Mike discarded me and then ignored me.
The floors cup, buckle and spread depending on the weather. The company worked on our home without a license. Find another company!
