American Home Sheild sent them to check on our A/C which was making weird noise and this guy ( don't remember name- bald guy) came in said ..could be blower is gone. 2 days later The unit quit working. Called the insurance back and was surprised to find that the technician had told them that there is no mechanical problem! Then they sent another Kingsville tech, came in and replaced the blower. Do Not Use Next Gen.. Unreliable!

We were assigned Next Gen Air through our home warranty company (American Homeshield). When I called them to schedule an appointment, I should have immediately seen red flags with their voicemail basically saying AHS customers aren't their priority. The contractor who came out to my home got to work on diagnosing my HVAC system. After about 30 minutes of doing things outside, I went to check to see if there was any progress. He admitted that he wasn't familiar with the issue he was seeing so he had to call a supervisor or another technician. After several phone calls and deciding the

I was matched up with Next Gen Air through my home warranty service. It's kinda scary because you never know who you're gonna get with this kinda thing, and Next Gen's Yelp reviews aren't currently so great... But, we gave it a shot because the price was right, and we weren't disappointed.

Next Gen reached out to me within about 12 hours after my service was requested, and they were able to come out to see me the following afternoon. Thank the lord because if you're reading this I'm sure you know that it's miserable to be without a powerful AC this time

UPDATE: A couple of days after posting this review, the owner reached out to us expressing his concern about our experience. We talked through what happened (see below) and discussed why it happened (he promised to make changes to his internal processes to avoid confusion and potentially unnecessary charges going forward). Someone from his team came out the next day and performed great work without the need for the extra charges.

ORIGINAL POST: If you are home warranty customer, Next Gen Air does not call you back until they are forced to. They add multiple things to the repair order that

Wanted to provide an update. I wrote a review a few days ago, and I still stand by what I said with the shoddy installation of our unit and the tech not checking before he unplugged our condensate pipes, flooding under our unit, but since then I will say they did make an effort to make it right. The manager contacted me multiple times to give me updates after my initial complaint regarding the flooding and the same tech came back out and eventually fixed the problem, putting in an airflow vent on the door to prevent it from happening again. I'm also getting a refund for a maintenance package

Nextgen Air is one of the most non-responsive & unprofessional companies that I have ever dealt with. The owner needs to be more active in the running of his office on a daily basis. Customer service like this will ruin you. The office staff has no sense of urgency to get matters resolved. I wish I had read these Yelp reviews before using them because these bad reviews are spot on. My warranty company, AHS, assigned them to me in May. The tech said he knew it was a particular valve that needed to be replaced along with 19 lbs of Freon @ $60/lb. Had the floating switch and 3 locking caps

Our warranty company sent Next Gen Air to our home on Monday because our A/C stopped working. Tech recommended purchasing a new unit since is would be expensive to repair the older unit and claims it may not be covered by our warranty but said he would include quote for replacement as well as repairs. He said someone would call us within 24 hours with our quote, I asked him to also make sure it is emailed. More than 24 hours later nothing. I followed up requesting they email the quote. Next day still nothing. I left a message 1st thing in the morning then follow up again a few hours later. They

These guys are great. I live in Fort Worth. They have serviced my units before the summer, and they come out and change the filters. They're some fancy filters that need to be changed every 6 months. Last night, my AC upstairs went out. They were out today to fix it, so now I can sleep in my bed and not on the couch. Really wonderful customer service and very responsive. I highly recommend.

Purchased Bosch AC units from Steven, assistant service manager, and I thought we had a great line of communication established from the beginning.  I was pleased with the installation even though it was sub contracted out to another HVAC team.  My main concern is the drop in communication after the sale.  Steven seemed like a stand up guy so I was surprised when I never heard back from him after I reached out via email, texts and phone calls.  I was looking at installing solar panels to support my new higher efficiency Bosch units, but never heard back from Steven.  I have reached out to

They came out through american home shield.
Although no time is a good time to have to replace the HVAC system, I'm glad I did it with them.

Communication is kety with me...I recieved emails and text reminding me of my appointment time and letting me know when the guys were on their way.

Bobbi in the sales area was kind and advised without pressuring me.

I asked a ton of questions.

I was able to get financing in one day.

I was also able to secure a next day install!

I like people and companies that value my time and my buying power .

I would recommended them.

Horrible. Scammers. They came to my house from American home shield. First they replaced a valve and I had to pay $400 for Freon that ahs didn't cover. It didn't fix the problem. They came back and this time they said I need a new evaporator coil and had to pay $850 for "code upgrades". I asked for a quote or bid, something to show what the $850 was for. I also asked if they were getting a permit and having work inspected since supposedly they had to do code upgrades, he spoke in circles but the truth was that they were not getting a permit because code upgrades are a scam.

If there were a lower rating, I'd give that. They installed a compressor and Evap Coil on my AC system in May through my home warranty company, Am. Home Shield. Last week, the system quit cooling and, after having it checked, the evap coil was leaking. Many calls to them later, I was told since I was not working through Am. Home Shield any longer, they would not replace the coil or do any work at all. (That's less than 120 days after install). I found out that they had not even bothered to register the bad coil when they installed it. When they did the work, they sent out one person

Robert (the service tech) arrived at our house to repair our air conditioning system on a Sunday afternoon. Robert was very professional and courteous. He explained in detail what was going on and how was going to make the repairs. I can not say enough good things about this young man, i am sure he will have a very successful career!

DO NOT HIRE THESE FOLKS!
I HAVE NEVER WRITTEN A YELP REVEIW BUT FELT I MUST NOW!
WARNING - DO NOT HIRE THESE FOLKS!

IF YOUR HOME WARRANTEE COMPANY HAS contracted with them do not accept them into your home! Insist to contract with someone else.

Every one of these reviews are spot on. The guys although nice. Have NOT fixed my problem and it's been two weeks of RIDICULOUS STORY AND EXCUSE and just not showing up.

Their office workers are SO RUDE. I had thought to just part ways but they would not release my contract. Then after hanging up on me twice they tried to cancel my contract! I tried

These guys have been to our house 4 times and each time, they've been courteous and professional and think they've solved the problem. Well guess what, it's still not fixed and we've paid them over $1600.00. We've been trying to reach them all weekend to no avail. This company in my opinion clearly needs to have it's TACL license revoked and run out of business. DO YOURSELVES A FAVOR AND DO NOT, EVEN OUT OF DESPERATION LET THESE GUYS WORK ON YOUR AIR CONDITIONING. You'll come out miles ahead!

Sure wish I read the yelp reviews before selecting NextGen as our home warranty's contractor to help with our a/c. I read the home warranty's reviews, but that will soon change once I post there too.

I want to stress that the initial technicians that diagnosed the problem and Lisa in the office were very polite. As you will see in my timeline, I'm a patient person. However, I do have my limitations.

On 6/19/19 at noonish, the technicians left the house with the diagnose. I was told that Bobbie at the office will call me. Since it is very hot in Texas and my 90 yr old mother

We had horrible experience with this company. They came through our home warranty. after multiple misdiagnosis and a month later, we were told they no longer work with our home warranty company. We were told we needed coil replacement, code updates, defective capacitor etc. and the issue never got fixed, the ac was back to "not working" after a couple of days. It was difficult to schedule an appointment and the techs seemed incompetent. They never communicated on time with the warranty company and we had to call back and forth to confirm the reports were sent to the warranty company to

If I could give below 0, i would! I am usually lenient and understanding of how these contractors may be individual owned and may need improvement in management. With all these understanding, there is always standard or a common sense that an amateur company should at least have for their customers who make choice to trust your service. I had to change the appointment twice with Nextgen simply due to poor communication. First one, I was told the day of appointment that due to weather concern, they are not coming. Ok, things happen and weather is something unavoidable. Then they want to come on

Hello,

Since the initial sales email I have not received one single reply to any email sent over the course of one whole month. I hope this time is different, but hope won't get me very far.

I'm very disappointed in the month-long process to get a brand new unit installed and working in my home. This was due to faulty install work by your crew and equally lazy follow up house calls by techs who had no care or concern to mitigate the issue. There were at least 6 days that I took off work to accomodate this unreasonable time frame and at least one that was planned and then cancelled
