This business is illegal. They do not have a Vallejo business license, which is required. I asked the City about why they did not have a license and they mumbled something about Code Violations. They do not care about your stuff, and their website is fake. Do not hire them. Their business has nothing to do with keeping your goods safe, and everything with providing a front for money laundering.
You will be met by a group of unprofessional, unprepared workers in a sh!tty van or truck. They will then consolidate that truck into a larger semi, or take it to their sh!tty warehouse

I don't know why all these bad reviews i myself had an excellent experience with this company. I was afraid to use any company due to my high priced valuables but i went ahead due to how far i was moving and i received everything a little late but nothing was missing and all intact. I did make sure i paid for the best packing so that cost a bit extra but was worth it .

Brooklyn movers are saying they did not receive Zelle payments from me in November and December even though I sent them Zelle confirmations as well as the actual deductions from my bank statement. They are claiming they have no record of payment and that I need to show further proof of payment. After speaking with Chase Bank and Zelle, we have all come to the same conclusion that the payments were in fact made and deposited correctly. Neither Zelle nor Chase Bank can offer me any other proof of this. Despite explaining this over and over to Brooklyn Movers, they are not satisfied and will not send

What started off as a nerve wracking move ended up fine with Brooklyn Moving. They managed to get all of our belongings packed and stored and then delivered to us 2 months later in another state. They did their job but I would be careful if going through a broker for any move. We contracted with Value Added moving who is a broker. They seem really shady and ended up with an extra $4000. from us that Brooklyn said they never got/etc. I would suggest going direct with Brooklyn as they did deliver on their word and work.

Don’t move using this company unless you want to get rid of your most valuable possessions. After months of waiting for them to get your stuff to you, it’ll turn out they “lost” half your stuff. It’s clear they’re selling what they can and then giving you what they can’t sell. Don’t get scammed, choose a legitimate moving company!

Brooklyn Movers does not have to care about all those 1-star ratings.
It gets customers through brokerage and unfortunately most of the people do not know what they got themselves into.
My experience:
1. they were 1 day late for pickup and arrived at 5pm
2. our things got delivered 1 month after due
3. communication with customer support was miserable and she screamed on us
4. about 20% of stuff got missed, including furniture pieces( parts of beds, dinner table..)

This is not a company to be trusted. It took them over 90 days to deliver my household items from Nevada to Iowa. Of course, they blamed the lack of trucks and drivers. This was a real thing, however, they never kept in touch with me. I made several phone calls trying to get my items. They did deduct $150 from the final amount because they didn't deliver within 90 days from the pack out date. 10 out of 12 bookcases were broken. A 10 set of Pfaltzgraff dinnerware only had 5 plates, 3 bowls, and 6 mugs not broken. The rest was broken. Many of the book boxes were broken and split opened on the

I had set up a move through a company known as Capital city moving and after paying a down payment and signing a contract with an estimate of my items arriving in 10 days they had outsourced to this company. This company then gives me an estimate of 21 days! I've been living in a new state for 2 weeks now without my items because of this. I could have very easily loaded and unloaded a uhaul on my own for a much cheaper price by now. I moved 9hrs driving away. How could that possibly take 21 days for a company who's sole purpose is to move items. I would NEVER use either of these companies!

This review gets worse it's no joke. We still do not have our items they phoned the other day stating after over two months of holding our items hostage, not moving anything close to what we needed moved. Spent 6k the next day to buy a Utility Trailer and another 10k since replacing large items we have stuck on their truck like generators and electric bikes and so much more we are beyond angry. I am seeking legal advice after the Holiday they are in with the Broker we had a Bate and Switch and now they want to charge for their drivers to stay over night and also to put them on a shuttle service

Absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with. Our stuff has been in storage for 3 weeks (I didn't even know they put it in storage- I thought it was picked up then on the road). I called to try to get an estimate date because we are approaching the last possible drop of date and the lady (cherice) was SO rude on the phone and actually hung up on me after I asked her to be a little understanding and nice. WOW. Absolutely terrible. I'm starting to wonder if our things will ever show up- or if they do, are they going to be damaged like all the other reviews on here!?

So far I have no complaints. This company picked up the ball when another consolidated mover dropped it and me into another desperate situation. Fortunately, Manny and his super crew of the one guy (sorry, never learned his name) saved the day. I feel so fortunate to hook up with Brooklyn Moving in these uncertain times of pandemic, recovery. I am so grateful that they even showed up! Honestly? (I probably should not say this but) I couldn't care less what happens on the flip/delivery side. It is what it is - it comes when it does and I'm sure I'll be grateful then, too. Like I side

Fraud at its finest! They quote you one price and you pay them the money. Then, the day you move, they demand an additional $3,500 by cash or cashier check or they hold your furniture hostage. They also broke my tool box, fridge and kept a tv stand. They showed up at my house with a van 3/4 full and charged me to move stuff that never fit in their van. Run away from these crooks. On top if it their customer service really is bad if you have a complaint. These guys are nothing but scam artists and opportunists!

Do not hire US Standard moving!!!! They were the reason we got stuck with this moving company. We didn't get to pick our moving company. At first they give you a price that seems too goo to pass on and them they screw you over and change the price on you a week before your items are scheduled to get picked up. Then they send unprofessional movers to get your things just to be told that the item count is incorrect and the price is going to change once again. We were originally billed 2,400 at the beginning and by the end we ended up paying 9,600 which is very sketchy on their payment method

Extreme and utter incompetence. What a HORROR it was to work with Brooklyn Moving Company. My initial contract was with City Moving Group LLC and unbeknownst to me they subcontracted the move out to Brooklyn Moving Group. Issue 1) As our items were being stored at a storage facility we were required by the storage facility to reserve a day for pick up. To do this we paid a $350 fee to make this happen. However, the day of pick Brooklyn Moving Group did not arrive citing an issue with the truck. As a result we had to reschedule and pay a fee to the storage facility. Issue 2) The delivery address

I cannot stress enough how useless and idiotic their customer

I wanted to post an update my moving misfortune July 12-14, 2021.
I filed a compliant against the moving broker, Cross State VanLines, with Department of Transportation, stating the facts, the deposit receipt and emails from/to from them. My claim is the moving broker company is in cahoots with this moving company, Brooklyn Movers in Fairfield, CA, knowing full well they frequently no-show, damage property and/or demand more money in cash.
This week I received two confirmation letters via email that the case was reviewed by DOT and moved on to New Jersey Attorney General and the Bergen County

Where to begin with this company? I booked a move form Long Beach CA to Milwaukee WI, through a company called Mission Moving that then contracted out to this moving company, Brooklyn Moving INC based out of Fairfield CA.
The head mover Basil, broke two of my lamps and bed frame, lol he actually broke the bed frame in my apartment in Long Beach. Then proceed to lose, steal, or throw away my bed and box spring
Luckily somehow even with my other damaged boxes, which there were many, nothing else was broken. They even contracted out their contract to another moving company and the movers filled

Somehow some way they dropped my dryer during transit and it was severely damaged.

Brooklyn moving sucks. We didn't even hire them we got scammed by some other company that subcontracted them. Well they showed up like two days late and when they did show up it was almost midnight. They broke my flat screen tv. They wrote a note saying that they had broken it on the receipt they gave me. Of course when I asked about it on the phone they tried to give a runaround and when I filed a claim they denied it so I'm just out a tv because of them.

Brooklyn Moving Company is not for day to day consumers. This is a freight company so while the prices seem reasonable at first, once at my place the estimate increased by over $3000.
Payment methods: Credit Cards/Debit Cards are not accepted. So you either need to provide a check, or a transfer from your bank. Not consumer friendly.
PickUp: There is supposed to be call prior to arrival to review all the details. They somehow missed this call, even though I called everyday checking on when they would come and pick up my stuff.
Loading the items: There were two guys - One seemed to know what
