After graduating from North Central University in 1994, I found myself seeking stable employment with a flexible schedule and reasonable pay. Some other jobs I tried just weren't very rewarding or fun, then, I began cleaning windows. Needless to say, given the climate and time of year, I learned some hard lessons early and regularly questioned if this was "worth it".
Window and door screens catch dirt, pollen, dust, pet hair, and other airborne matter! Dirty, unsightly screens detract from any clean window. Our preferred method of cleaning screens includes dry brushing with a soft bristled brush and then power washing. This process will leave screens clean and add a finishing touch to any job.
Brushing, vacuuming, and wiping sills is an essential part of a complete window cleaning service. No one wants clean glass with spider webs left hanging around the frames or dirt in the sills! Our attention to detail beyond cleaning the glass is incorporated into every job and will satisfy the highest standards of the most meticulous of customers.
Skylights are important features of a room and add a powerful element of natural light. Since they draw a lot of attention, a clean skylight will greatly enhance the atmosphere of a room. When cleaning skylights we prefer to get within arm's reach, scrub, and squeegee. This, however, is not always possible when cleaning the outsides due to the placement of skylights on certain roofs.
Cleaning storm windows is window cleaning of a totally different kind. It requires knowledge and experience surpassing the average window cleaner. Storms can be triple track, fixed pane, picture windows, interior Pella storms, etc. They may have Low-E coatings, fabricating debris on the surface, hard water stains, etc. Truth be told, they are among the most challenging of all windows.
