Susan studied fine arts and received a B.F.A. and M.A. with a focus in contemporary ceramic sculpture.
After receiving a grant from the Belgian Ministry to teach and lecture on the subject of 'Contemporary Bay Area Ceramic Art' throughout Belgium, she returned to the U.S. to study her first true life's passion, interior design. She received her second B.F.A. in interior architecture from California College of the Arts in San Francisco, where she graduated with honors.
She worked at Gensler, RMW and other high end contract design and architectural firms in San Francisco and has happily never looked back. With the birth of her son, she hung up her own shingle and switched her focus to residential and hospitality design.
