The boxes didn't arrive ahead of time, but it wasn't their fault and they reimbursed me for getting my own.
The move was scheduled for a Saturday, and when there were winter storm warnings and states of emergency declared they offered a discount to do a day earlier or later. For various reasons I wasn't able to shift the date and they persevered, to the extent of having a team member literally circle my block continuously while bringing the boxes down (from a fifth floor walk up) so as to let the plows by.
They wrapped all my tvs and furniture etc very securely and, despite everything

Horrible experience!! I have used moving companies previously, with great results. Not this time! I had everything packed and organized. The movers arrived to load my belongings they were brash, uncaring and rude.
My belongings were then placed into storage 23 miles from where I moved, and held there for two months. There was no reason for this. There was no explanation, nor apology.
When finally the mover, one solo mover, arrived to deliver my belongings, he rapped harshly on my door and commenced yelling at me!! No introduction, no verification, and no phone call before his arrival. Contrary

My wife and I had a great experience working with this company. The movers were courteous, efficient, and took great care of all of our items. Hire a four man crew. I’m very glad I did, and they finished the job in about three hours. Be prepared to take extra cash out, as they did add on a little more for packing and time spent securing some of our unwrapped furniture. They worked very hard, so my wife and I were fine with it.

I had a local move scheduled into a storage unit to prepare for a home renovation in early Jan- but then COVID hit for me. To my surprise, they were really flexible and got the move date rescheduled quickly. On the move day, they were perfectly on time, followed the local parking ordinances and the 4-man crew was also well prepared and had all the boxes we needed to move. Moving the very large refrigerator I had out of the garage and into the storage unit was a challenge, but they managed it well and kept everything safe. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again for when we need to move everything

This was a great experience move with Atlantis Van Lines. It was such a relief to outsource all moving troubles to these professionals. Andy was absolutely wonderful in helping us with all the questions and concerns we had about our move from Manhattan to Fort Lee, NJ. His was up front with price and extremely professional and prompt with answering our questions!
As for our moving CREW!! These 4 guys kicked some butt. Michael was so great. These guys made an already stressful situation less problematic by offering quick solution. They disassembled our furniture and reassembled it at our new house

Just used Atlantis Van Lines for my move within NYC, and I am very confused about everyone's reviews regarding "fair pricing" because the pricing was very far from fair. PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL because this company is NOT transparent and are very dishonest about their fees and pricing. So my husband spoke to a man named Anthony about two weeks prior to the move, and they both spoke via phone about the move from one neighborhood to another (which would be about an hour commute). My husband explained we are moving from a ONE bedroom on the first floor to another ONE bedroom, and reviewed each item

We moved from Edgewater to Livingston, but our apartment wasn't ready, so we needs to use a storage in transit. After some research ( we did our homework), we choose Atlantis Van Lines, because they have a storage & looks reliable. They did a great job! Crew of 3 people came on time, packed our staff very carefully & professional and put everything into their storage for 3 months. We've been completely satisfied with their job but waiting to put a review until we'll get our belongings into the new apartment. Made my moving needs known via internet, and Andy from Atlantis Van Lines was not only the first to call, but called on a SUNDAY! That solidified by choice immediately. Was impressed by his work ethic, attentiveness, and flexibility. He was available by phone, e-mail or text for questions and issues.
As promised, the crew arrived at exactly 8 a.m., and treated my belongings with TLC. Immediately felt at ease with the three gentlemen and the process.
Second phase of the move will be next Saturday, and would not consider using any other company.
Added bonus was the very reasonable cost.

The movers at Atlantis Van Lines were very good for the price. My items were carefully packaged, disassembled, then reassembled, and placed in the rooms I wanted. I had very sensitive items in need of moving, including a china cabinet with glass shelving and doors and a large dresser mirror; nothing was damaged. They were also very accommodating in helping to throw out some larger pieces of furniture, including an old couch. The corridors in my new location were very tight, and my freshly painted walls were left spotless thanks to the movers careful consideration. For the price, I am very satisfied

This was my first time using this moving company. The immediate response to my moving request was impeccable. The Atlantis Van Lines (AVL) crew that actually move did a dynamite job. I couldn't ask for anything better. The moving crew were definitely professional movers!
The only complaints that I have is...AVL only except cash payment. That's so 70's. Get with the times and start excepting a cash app or credit card payment. I am very happy that I found this company for my recent move. They were able to accommodate my request which was within a couple of days notice. Dima was the Forman and he had two other gentleman for my move. They took care of everything from wrapping to set up at the new place. They were on time, very nice, very professionalI and pricing was very reasonable. I will be recommending them to everyone that so know.

Amin and the guys did a great good with a move from Nutley to Readington. Protected furniture well, were within an hour of estimated time and most important nothing broken or damaged. Would highly recommend them and definitely use them again.

We had a fantastic experience moving within Manhattan. They were very polite, helped us pack a few complicated items that were not yet boxed when they arrived and overall made for a very smooth experience, clearly showing a great deal of care with our items. We have many delicate items (crystal and fine china) and everything arrived perfectly. They were very quick to disassemble and reassemble heavy furniture as well and truly friendly throughout. Definitely recommend.

Our move went very well. The three guys were efficient, friendly, and hard working. Nothing was broken and they did a good job protecting our stuff and then removing the packing and reassembling the furniture. They explained everything before, during, and after the move. My only issue was their assumption of the amount of the tip and then placing it on the invoice thinking I would agree. While I had definitely planned to tip them I did not particularly like the way it was handled by the crew.

This was the 1st time I've used a moving company, and Atlantis Van Lines did a good job. They were very easy to talk to on the phone and were pretty straight forward about the pricing of the service. The movers were pleasant and very efficient; they did not waste any time and got right to work. I thought the pricing was pretty fair, but I didn't realize how much of an upcharge certain materials were (i.e. $4/roll of tape). A few of our wooden pieces of furniture got scratches on them, and one of the legs of our dining table got a crack, but I honestly expected that to happen considering

Took longer than expected and the cost was more but the guys worked pretty hard and overall a good job.
Neglected to mention that they charge $25 to provide a Certificate of Insurance which is a requirement if you are moving in or out of any NYC apartment building.

The moving crew was polite, however the price agreement, total cost was very deceptive, and not clear from. The start. The total cost for the move including tip for a small apartment was way higher than the initial quote provided. I was also not happy with the scratches left on my wooden floors after the move. I'd search for a better, more professional moving company next time around.

Used Atlantis for a move in NYC one bedroom. Pre-move the boxes that were promised didnt arrive, but it was a Lowes shipping delay issue. In reponse i bought my own boxes and Atlantis subtracting the cost from the total. They were not proactive about letting me know about the delay though. Day-of they were very efficient and moved everything safely and with care. However, i was hit with a 50 dollar fee for COI i wasnt aware of in the inital quote. That being said good value for money and overall move was satisfactory.
