In summer of 2020 I worked as a salesperson for direct solar for about a month, I left because they had none of their own leads in my area, disrespected the leads that I brought in from my own network, and were asking us to essentially work for free (details below). During my time there, the salespeople who did make sales alleged that they never received their full commission they were promised. While direct solars prices are good, its probably worth paying more to work with a local experienced company.

I gave this company MANY chances to make this right before writing a review. I am appalled at the lack of basic service from DSOA. First, Cam came over and said a child (literal child) was the CEO of the company and had several charities going on. Then, Cam went MIA. Next I was passed on to another rep, but shortly after working with him, he passed me on to a third rep. Kjelsey. Kjelsey never responded until I threatened to write a google review and open up a lawsuit. She then proceeded to make promises about the incentive checks, but then ghosted me and stopped responding altogether. Mind you

We set up our solar panels with direct solar back in August 2020. Only disappointment is that 7 months later, we still haven't received the incentive we were promised. We have consistently tried calling and no one picks up. I hope anyone else that gets promised with an incentive actually receives it!

I purchased solar panels from DSA in June 2020. I was in the market to buy solar panels and DSA offered $250 for a smart thermostat, 12 months of payments and a 60 inch television.
Eric my sales rep stated he needed his manager Brian’s sign off on the check. I ended up speaking with Brian and he took some time to process payment. Brian stated the TV wasn’t DSA responsibility that the TV was offered when in fact Eric was an employee of DSA so I felt it was their responsibility. So the 12 months payments and $250 for thermostat was paid.

This is an add on to a previous review. We had solar put in last year and the energy savings have been nowhere near what we were quoted. I received a call Laura in response to my original reviews on 7/1/2020. She has been very friendly and said her supervisor would be taking over this issue and I was promised a call back in the next few days with what they're going to do. I didn't hear anything for a few week then I called Laura back on 7/15/2020 who said her boss would be calling me back by tomorrow. It is now 8/5/2020 and I haven't heard a peep. I'm now looking at a $190 Electric Bill and a

I had a great experience with Direct Solar! I was very impressed with how helpful all staff has been throughout our solar journey. I was updated frequently and everyone has been so kind. If you are looking to save money on your electric I highly recommend this company. Very knowledgeable and great customer service.
