David van Ling and Melanee Friscia are well-respected interior designers who have work on residential and commercial projects throughout the United States. In business since 1991, they have created many harmonious, sophisticated and timeless interiors. The longtime Tampa resident (32 years and counting) is a graduate of the Art Institute of Atlanta. Over the years, David sought to perfect his art by continuing his education through courses at Harvard University & quarterly Designer Forums held in New York City.

I was so fortunate to work with David on the interior of my home. And I had so much fun! We shopped, and looked at a myriad of fabric samples & paint colors. We chatted about all of my numerous ideas and thankfully, he said no to the ones that wouldn't have worked. It was a genuine pleasure. And the final result is stunning!

Melanee Friscia is an amazing talent! This past year, she designed and decorated my business, Skin NV. We get multiple compliments every day on the interior. I have worked with several decorators and have never had someone so detailed oriented and easy to work with. She saved us time, money and increased functionality with her suggestions. I would highly recommend her!

Our home has never looked so beautiful. David's professional design expertise is Number One. He took the time to learn about us and our lifestyles, then created fabulous designs. Our home has never looked so good. We always get compliments from family and friends about the inviting and warm space David created. David is a master with color and creative with furniture placement. We love our home so much we never want to leave!!

This review is for the fabulous services I received from Melanee Friscia of Van Ling Design. I was at a loss as to how to makeover my formal rooms, and Melanee came through big time. She has so much experience, and can locate amazing pieces from almost anywhere. She listens to what you want to accomplish, is very realistic, honest and open. She is also sensitive to sticking to your budget. I would only consider Melanee when I need to make a change in my home.
