My first experience ever with a lost FOB. Not pleasant, and usually very costly. Max was my technician, and he was wonderful!! Super polite and knowledgeable. The FOB I needed had to come from Pensacola with another tech, unfortunately was taking a very long time. So , Max came out late at night to make sure I had my vehicle for the next day. He's work ethic is something that most people can learn from.

I called 5 different companys to have the locks popped on a car while I was working. All gave me 3 hour wait times and 160-200$. I called 98 locksmith and was told it would be an hour and way less money, within 15 minutes of my first call the Locksmith called and said he was on his way. FAST , FRIENDLY AND REASONABLE

We were in need of an additional car key since we only had one. We contacted other locksmiths and Ford and all of them were quoting us prices over $500. We knew car keys would be expensive, especially to get it programmed so we contacted 98 Locksmith to get a quote. There were reasonably priced and extremely responsive. When we called they answered all our questions and were very kind. The locksmith met us out and about in town, was able to cut the key from his vehicle, and program it in less than 20 minutes! It was the easiest process ever, and the gentlemen was so kind, it was a great experience

I wish I could give this company a 0 rating!! They were called to repair a lockout of a condominium fitness center. The first guy came out and opened the door but tore up the lock. A new lock was ordered and was told someone would come within 2 days to repair. Day, after day, after day, they promised they were coming. Finally when called they just didn't answer the phone. And on top of it all they made us pay $220 in advance!! The job was never completed and we gave up and hired another company. The new company finished they job in 2 days.

Very pleased with this service! Ray came out and was able to go down on the original price to meet our budget. Despite having to take the entire door panel off the car to get the information he needed to cut the key (which would normally cause for a even higher price) still honored the quote he promised. was very courteous and pleasant in conversation. Would highly recommend this company and RAY. HE’S THE MAN! THANK YOU 98 LOCKSMITH!!!

Short: These are the guys, great service/price.
Long: We are from Chicago and lost the keyfob to our truck in a state park. We called “98 Locksmith” and they agreed to immediately meet us as our truck was running & if shut off wouldn’t restart. Their service was effective, fast, friendly, & I got factory equipment. “98 locksmith” is the real deal at a great price!

This company was hired for me through AAA to make an ignition key. They did nothing but make false promises to me for 5 WEEKS. The service was garbage at best. Nice in person, but nonexistent when trying to communicate. They would make promises to have the service done by the end of the day and then just not show up, no call, no text, no communication AT ALL. Spent hours waiting around for these people. If I called, my call would get silenced/ignored. They might text back with the automated- "can't talk right now" response. Then no call after. Overall, job never got done. Waited

Quick and to the point. I lost my keys in the sand after a long day at the beach. I called 98 locksmith and the staff was amazing. The woman on the phone was quick and courteous and the technician she sent was knowledgeable and honest. They told me upfront what the cost and timeframes would be and kept to that.

Their website says it's $29 to $75 for the drive out, and $35 for the auto unlock service. Yet, when I called, they quoted me at $79 to $100 for the unlock service without even knowing where I was located yet. I told the woman several times what their website stated in that I had the website to verify what it said, and she just brush me off as if my business was not important to them whatsoever. I would not recommend them, do not fall for their lies.

I thought the same as everyone else wow how can locksmiths charge so much right? I've had personal experiences were i locked my keys in my car after 12am and was charged 225 5+ years ago. But that's the price you have to pay for no damage done to the vehicle beats scratching up the door and damaging the seal using a coat hanger. So I Recently bought a house and wanted. All by locks rekeyed a keyless entry installed and some extra keys made . Came with a price tag of course. So I did some research and the price I was given was a very common price among locksmiths around the country.

Horrible experience. Wanna truly feel taken advantage of by a company when in need. Give these guys a call. Charged me $450 to cut and program a single key at midnight after all of my personal belongings was stolen and I had no other options. The dealership charges 125 cut and programmed. How is it ok for a company to do this to someone. I own a business myself and I am greatful that myself and my employees do not treat people in this manner especially when they are in need. The sad part is that I am a dealer and have a regular locksmith that frequents my dealership weekly to keep up with our keys
