We happily educate anyone interested in what we do, and deliver exceptional design and service. Board & Vellum was founded in 2011 by Jeff Pelletier in the attic of his Capitol Hill home. He didn't want his name on the door, wasn't interested in only one architectural style, and was determined to show that exceptional design could come with ego-free attitude and great service.
From architects, to interior designers, to landscape architects - we're all here to be your advocate. Our team at Board & Vellum is here to answer your questions, solve your design challenges, and to have a fun time collaborating with you. We're not your typical design firm, and we would love to show you why.

We are in it to create awesome spaces and environments that you - our clients and community - love. The last thing that we want is to design in a vacuum.
We are an interdisciplinary group of designers specializing in a spectrum of projects from new custom homes and residential remodels, to multifamily mixed-use development, to restaurants and retail spaces - even parks. We create welcoming commercial spaces that reinforce your brand identity, and help you get your work done well.

I am not an easy to please person, on a project all the checkboxes must be checked: quality, time, budget. I have done over a dozen of projects in my career and none of the other designers/architects blew it out of the park like these guys did. There is no tardiness, Sandy and Fabiola kept me on my toes and made sure I did my part while they were doing theirs (usually its the other way around with others). Received weekly status updates and I was in the loop with every step of the way. My budget was on spot and it was done on time. The quality of the job turned out to be even better than we imagined
