Carnegie has worked hard over the last decade to greatly expand and improve options in Xorel weaves, colors, patterns, and sheens. We are excited to include some of these new options in our expanded collection. There are also two groups structured especially for use on The Woods: WOODS (8) and WOODS TEXTURE (8).
MARCEL's soft shape and sound deadening qualities result from a natural fiber core, a generous layer of padding, and a knit fabric covering. Carnegie Fabric's Xorel Knit provides an excellent shade surface for hospital and other high traffic public areas, as well as residential use: it is inherently anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, stain resistant, and water repellent.
The versatile, adaptable Prosperity system offers an array of hardwired and portable models for E26 (medium base) screw in lamps. The clean, sealed fixture design incorporates a technologically advanced and environmentally sustainable shade fabric. The highly durable woven polyethylene textile from Carnegie Fabrics is inherently anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, water repellant and stain resistant.
Ruggedly resilient SMITH shade construction has been paired with integral LED technology to offer a full range of pleasing pendant sizes and proportions. Shades feature double-layer construction: XOREL, an extremely hard-wearing woven polyethylene fabric from Carnegie Fabrics, is backed by high-impact copolymer.
MOSQUITO is formed of FSC certified sustainable, lightweight marine-grade Okoume plywood cut on our CNC router, assembled, stained and sealed then wrapped in Carnegie Fabric's durable XOREL. Design of Resolute's MOSQUITO fixture was inspired by one of the fastest operational aircraft in the world at the time it went to battle for the British - in 1941.
