Salesman came and checked heat pump and said i needed a new one and i signed papers for a new one and i called 2 weeks later and salesman said they were haveing trouble with getting the parts so i called back a week later to check and salesman said they would have to send a service tech out to see if i needed one after being told i needed on bad as mine was old and wore out, so i called another tech and he put me in a new heat pump and it was $3,000 cheaper and a top of the line system, never deal with mills heating and air again , they dont want peoples bussines as want all the money up front

Terrible. Called and got a return call and specifically asked if they would tell me what was wrong before they fixed it. Tech got here was here about 35 minutes and come to our porch and said it was fixed. Price $552 outrageous for a new capacitor. Never told me what was wrong or how much it would be. Stay away from this company! Seen other reviews about overcharging for a capacitor!!!!!

Called Mills Heating and Air in the morning and they had technician Chris here that afternoon. Unfortunately our outside compressor was shot(we had it for 15yrs!) Had Sales Rep Dylan out within an hour to discuss new unit options. Very personable and responsive. They offered to provide portable AC units to help cool the house temporarily. Will update review once the new system is installed

I have always been very pleased with the service from Mills until I purchased a whole house generator. Previously they have done maintenance on my HVAC, sealed ductwork and installed a whole house dehumidifier. I discussed the generator at length stressing that the well pump was the priority. The generator was purchased and installed. In Feb 2021 we had storms that knocked out the electricity. The generator worked great; except no water. When I called it took 3 weeks for someone to be sent out to find out why. They had not checked during installation to ensure the well was attached to the generator

My family and I recently moved to Virginia
The house we purchased had a very old heat pump
which wasn’t working properly and cost a lot of money in electricity, Mills did an awesome job from start to finish of the project.
They had all new heat pump and everything that goes with it installed within 24 hours of our call,
On time and on budget.
My house is warm including the floors and heat pump isn’t running constantly with our new unit and we couldn’t be happier

It must be difficult to successfully run a service oriented business in the pandemic! Yet Mills seems to have hit on the perfect combinations of common sense and attention to detail to make it fly.
I was a bit concerned when I made the appointment to have an expert come to the house to look at our dead heat pump - but he took all the precautions we hear and read about. They are knowledgeable and willing to work with us. They provide a much needed service and an excellent product; they do it even in this pandemic.
