Anca Solar

3 times in January, I called 805-410-0494 and left 3 voicemails. I emailed both carlos@ancasolar.com and ancasolarinc@yahoo.com. No replies. It sure would be nice if they could briefly say "sorry we are too busy". Any reply at all would be courteous. I can't imagine doing a project with such zero communication.

I will start by saying I couldn't be happier after having my solar system installed by ANCA Solar. 5 Stars for sure. Now some background.
I finally decided to get solar because of rising power costs, and because of the recent installation of central air conditioning. I did my due diligence, getting quotes from 6 different companies. They were 5 of the "name brands," and ANCA, which is a smaller operation. Frankly, my first thought was to go with one of the "bigger boys," the kinds of places that have flashy websites, and provide you with a "customized report"

Had an optimizer go out a long time ago. Was sent a replacement but because the company that installed it is no longer in business I had to find a new company. After talking to other companies who had crazy prices or stood me up I found Anca Solar. They were great!! They knew exactly what I was talking about and gave me a fair rate. They showed up two days later, practiced great social distancing and wore a mask. They were quick and to the point even during this crazy heat wave. They went so far as to adjust the ladder so it wouldn't scratch my gutters. I didn't even have say anything

So happy and relieved to have found Anca Solar to uninstall and reinstall our solar panels. Having had problematic original install, we were a little apprehensive to move forward with another solar company. But Carlos Vega understood our sensitivity and put our minds at ease and reassured us that he would personally manage the project from start to completion. I have never learned so much about solar installation processes and production until we met him. He laid out reinstallation plans in such great detail and he practically got us involved and engaged throughout which we greatly appreciated

Very disappointed with Anca Solar . I tried to use Carlos on a job . He scheduled a date then didn’t show up . no notice , no courtesy call. No apologies. I sent him a text message the day he didn’t show up . The text was marked
” Read” . I thought I would get a response ..... running late , can I reschedule ? Sorry I’m too busy .... Nothing .....Total disregard for my busy schedule and customers. Made me look bad On a very important project . Never again will I attempt to do business with Anca . Wish I could rate 0 stars

I can't say enough good things about Anca Solar and Carlos Vega. We contracted with them to uninstall and reinstall our existing solar panels as part of a re-roof. Our previous solar install was a little problematic, so we were a little sensitive, but Carlos immediately put us at ease and made sure that he explained everything to us. I needed a new roof, an old electric solar panel system removed from my roof and a new system installed. I talked to several solar companies. Most were very knowledgeable, but none were as much help as Carlos from Anca Solar was. I'm a project manager and a guy who loves to research technology. I am dead honest with my reviews and don't give five stars easily. I shopped solar panels for over a year, practically torturing the sales reps to get an understanding of the calculations, system design spec, etc.

What I learned about solar panels is once you establish a baseline for the quality of products and warranties, you are basically comparing installers. This is where the big names failed to win me over. After having this realization, I felt much more comfortable with someone local and experienced.

We had Anca Solar do the solar for the residential home that is owned by our church in Reseda. A member of the church contacted some other solar companies who never responded to give a bid. I was referred to Carlos and worked with him throughout the project and they did an amazing job!
We were able to fit 21 modules (305 watts each), 21 optimizes, along with a Solar Edge Inverter. Basically, really good and up-to-date equipment for a residential property. Marco is just absolutely awesome to work with. He's an old fashioned craftsman who takes pride in his work. If you ever think of installing solar, go to Marco first.
