Founded in 1995 by Jean-Laurent Raphael, Space Lighting, specializes in the distribution of European luxury lighting and furniture in North America. The company is considered a pioneer in importing one-of-a-kind products such as cast aluminum lighting by Lucien Gau (Paris), chandeliers from Lumen or the first Torchere wall light in stainless steel.
In 2000, Space Lighting began importing and developing Viabizzuno which to this day is still considered among the top Italian Architectural lighting companies and in 2005 launched Venini in NA when Murano glass wasn't yet fashionable. The company always remains at the forefront of the field thanks to the participation in trade shows, including Maison & Objet, Euroluce, and ICFF.
For over 25 years, the company has exclusively introduced the North American market to the finest European lighting and furniture brands like Flos and now includes: Oluce, CTO Lighting, DCW Editions, Smart and Green, Melogranoblu, Nomon Home, Dix Heures Dix, Toulemonde Bochart, Rispal, etc.

Everyone that works at space lighting, should be fired. In my 10 years in business, I have never dealt with a more incompetent group of people. You would think they were just placed on earth today, I am truly unsure how they are employed. I spoke with a manager by the name of Joselyn, what a joke. They are clue less, they cannot keep commitments, etc etc etc etc etc.
