We had a great experience with Dave from RoofSmart. After a very damaging hailstorm we decided to call RoofSmart instead of going with one of the many storm chasers. Dave came quickly after our call. He did a profound inspection and came again to go over all the damage with our insurance. He did the paperwork for the insurance claim. RoofSmart installed a new roof and gutters and skylights and arranged for windows to be replaced. All work is done to our great satisfaction.

We are extremely happy with the work Roofsmart did replacing our roof and gutters. We worked mostly with Daryl who was extremely professional and courteous, explaining the process in working with them and our insurance company. He also made sure to be on site when the insurance adjuster was here.
The roofing crew did a great job and after they were finished did an extremely good job on clean-up. Daryl and Dave were there to assist in the clean-up and do a final check.

The RoofSmart team was great to work with from start to finish. After a hailstorm damaged our roof and gutters, RoofSmart went above and beyond while we worked through our insurance claim. We received great service and communication throughout the process. The installation crews were likewise professional and courteous. The work was done thoroughly and with great attention to detail. After the storm a year ago I was in need of a new roof on my home/garage and my 3 car stand along garage. I struggled finding a roofing company I felt wanted my business. One day I had run to Menards and when I came out a RoofSmart truck was parked next to me. I asked the driver if he had a business card and told him what I needed. Daryl was his name and he was so professional he got my business plus my insurance company thought he was great! I have used Contractors for various home projects over the last 25 years. I have never hired a contractor as professional as Dave Carlson and his Company, ROOFSMART in Johnston, Iowa to replace my hail damaged roof and gutter system. His crew was extremely professional and. efficient. After the job was finished, Dave Carlson personally walked the property, checking to see if any debris from the project was left behind. Very easy start to finish after we had hail damage on roof/gutters. Super responsive and owner Dave was great to work with. Worked directly with insurance when needed. Didn't see roof install but were in and out while I was at work. High quality shingles installed. A few leftover nails which is expected but overall good cleanup. Thanks for everything!

I needed to get the roof replaced on my rental property in Iowa. I live several hundred miles away. I met with Dave while in town getting quotes. His companies professional appearance and his understanding of my situation was excellent. I had products I wanted for the house and Dave made sure I got them. His responses to any questions I had were very timely and I feel I got a good deal on this roof replacement. I got a great warranty and the products used are superior.
