I have a very bad experience by hiring KJ's Handyman Service did my home repair and maintenance from 6/18/2018 to 6/20/2018. The initial quoted price was $1740, when the work was started the first day on 6/18/2018, Steve (Ken's daddy) with another person was working onsite. I found the woods on the crown was rotten. Replacing only one piece of wood, caulking and painting the crown on the initially quoted would not help. After I discussed with Steve, he asked and I agreed to pay additional $250 to replace the crown. The total should be $1740 + $250 = $1990. Minus the initial $870 deposit

I would like to recommend KJ'S Handyman Service.
They are professional and very competitive company.
I had them out to the house to quote electrical work.
They provided a written quote at no charge.
It was my intention to us them for this work,
but ended up using a company in Fishers
who's quote was the same.

The poor rating reviewer is clearly a competitor. I used these guys and they were entirely professional. Did excellent work, and the price was very reasonable. I got quotes from several other companies before going with KJ's. I do handy work on the side too, so I know a bit about building things. I watch these guys build on my house. They know what they are doing and do it very well. I would highly recommend these guys. They have been in business for many many years.

I've used Ken and his crew for many, many jobs over the past five years or so. He has always been very reliable, fair, and professional. I very much appreciate doing business with him and his crew. Even though he is moderate in cost or often times less expensive, I would be willing to pay more for the quality and service he delivers.
