Poor communication. Plans submitted to HOA was rejected. Requested refund 6 weeks ago and having to fight. Don't trust them with your money!!!

DO NOT use this company for any job. My experience with deck project that they did for me: 1) poor communication once "contract" was signed 2) confusion over project details resulted in a major tear down and redesign on the fly 3) poor fit/finish and craftmanship in general 4) inattention to some code requirements for my county 5) zero communication to deal with any issues once they considered the job done

I have recently built 16x14 deck. This guy is not professional at all. I showed a sample deck and the way i want. He gave the estimates sheet with bunch of check marks. Later on he was claiming that every feature I asked is not there and charge me extra money. Initially he said $2 per picture framing and again charged $3 when comes to the final payment.
The deck post are just berried under ground which will rotted after few years. Do not go with this guy. Very poor professional qualities i have ever seen.

Absolutely the best quality, professionalism, cost, and easy to work with for changes and working through unknowns during construction. 100% would hire again and 100% referral.

By making any of three of the appointments they agreed to attend; which all three they missed. i give everyone a fair shake at doing work, but yes.. three missed appointments says I try to hard for them!!

John and his crew is fantastic I had a deck done by them a few months ago. They was polite understand and when I say they got the job done they got it done quick clean and looks amazing. I am so blessed of their service. They did a good job I give them a 5 star and some

If you want someone who is honest trust worthy and will get the job done for you John is the man. I plan on dealing with John for the rest of my needs around my home he’s the best their is.

Custom Decks and Designs built us such a beautiful deck that we have them finishing our basement now.

I have to say the negative reviews caused me some concern as I had already given my deposit. John and his crew came in and removed my old deck, installed my new composite deck in 2 days. Workmanship is top notch, and every design aspect that we discussed was done to the letter. Nothing was missed and the construction is solid if not over engineered. I have a drain spout that needed to go through the deck, the cuts are so precise I do not believe I could get anything else through the hole. Courteous, polite,and respectful of my neighbors.

This person is a scam artist and a liar. DO NOT waste your time dealing with him
