As an arborist who has studied trees and climbed for over 17 years, I saw the need for a company able to provide experienced, quality tree work at fair prices in the Greenville area. So five years ago, I began Out on a Limb. Whether it's a safety or aesthetic issue, a tree removal decision may be an easy one, but finding a qualified company for the job is not always as easy.

Eric gave me an estimate and called to personally explain all the details. He was very thorough and made me feel very confident in what I was getting and when the work would be done. The crew was on time, professional, and conscientious. They avoided other landscaping and minimally disrupted my yard at all - and that’s saying a lot simply because I had a dozen trees removed!! They cleaned up very well every day. At the end of the job it was like they were never there. The most impressive thing overall was how precise and careful these guys are. I had one tree overhanging my neighbors pool fence

Ive used them multiple times as well. Several neighbors used them too. Their prices were great and they did a good job. I had them remove a very large tree that was a danger to our home. Also had them come out when a storm took down a few trees on our road. All work was done well. Seems like a family business which I like to support.

I can't even give this company a star. It is poorly operated and poorly run! Owner only has this company due to parents buying it for him due to him not holding a job due to theft and drug charges at prior company's. All public records. I found this out through other people in my neighborhood and I decided to take my business elsewhere. If I were you I would do the same! I for one don't want a company on drugs working on my property. Beware of this company!

I met Eric several years back when I lived in Simpsonville. He twas hired to down a 60 foot plus Holly Tree in my backyard. He was very professional and showed up exactly when he said he would. The tree was in a tight spot. It was about 15 feet from a fence and about 30 feet from the back of the house and deck. There was only one way to go and it was also compromised due to a storage building directly in it’s path. Therefore the only thing he could do was Top the Tree first. Eric used a “Swiss Seat” climbing harness and a rope on a pulley attached to a limb on the tree. He pulled himself

I cannot recommend Eric and his crew at Out On A Limb enough. They were professional, knowledgable and did a great job. Excellent communicator and did a great job cleaning up as well. They removed a large tree, hung a high swing and installed a zip line. We could not be more pleased. Highly recommend!
