Tim Gentry, who began working for his father's Lake Tahoe, California based roofing company when he was just 13 years old, founded Gentry Roofing in Kansas City. We had John Howard at Gentry install our DaVinci roof after another roofer abandoned us with $20,000 worth of roofing materials sitting in the driveway. He was straightforward, honest, fairly priced, and did not try to take advantage of our situation. His team was hardworking, skilled, responsive to our requests, and tried their best to prevent damage to the trees and shrubs. The roof looks great, and (so far anyway, after 4 months) there's no leaks or any other reason to call them back. All in all, we're very pleased.

Edited post service in 9/2017: John Howard finally contacted me after our contractor that originally hired them back in 2012 contacted him on my behalf. He came out, reviewed the issue, ascertained that the leak was likely due to flashing issues around vent pipes, and said he would send out his best worker to fix the problem the following week. After one additional follow up call (the following week turned into a week and a half), the roofer came out and fixed the problem. (We hope.)
