The Don Young Company was incorporated in 1978 in Dallas. We are a family-owned and managed wholesale manufacturing business and own our locations listed below. Don Young's initial focus on manufacturing and installing storm windows and doors and thermally-broken aluminum replacement windows has developed over the years into significant company expertise in product application, sales and field service.
From IH35 at Mockingbird Lane, take Mockingbird westbound and turn right onto Ambassador Row. Our building will be on the left/west side of Ambassador. The Dallas branch is home to the DYC corporate office. Our location manufactures all of the DYC products, it has a large furnished showroom, and we have a dealer training center.
Our Houston branch has a very experienced staff with many years in the window industry. Branch manager Scott Grover has been with the company over 33 years and has 37 years in the business. Jon Lantz, with over 17 years of building materials experience, is the outside sales person for the Houston branch and also possess great technical and installation knowledge.
On I27 go to the 34th Street exit, turn east and continue about 7 blocks to Avenue A. Turn south on Avenue A and we are on the east side about four blocks down. Our branch manager Martin Garcia has been with the company since 1992. With an additional 8 years of experience in the building trades, customer service, and repair segments, it makes him an ideal person to be manager of DYC Lubbock.

We were looking at the windows that we are having installed soon. They come highly rated. We liked the way they looked. Their website provides a large amount of information about their products. Their website was very easy to navigate. If you are in the market for new windows i would consider these as a possibility.

I did get my windows but there were multiple mistakes with my order. Their communication is so poor it took months for them to send replacements for some glass that should have been tempered. This caused the project to fail the final inspection. When the new glass finally came I had to pay for the old glass to be removed and the new glass installed. Don Young Company is the worst supplier I have ever encountered.

Worst Client Care Imaginable! I have an account with them & asked Brenda to help me for a month in placing an order. Sent email after email to get assistance. I stated 2x I needed my order to pass inspection in Fort Worth. I ordered aluminum black windows from her and she knew they would not pass and took my money anyway. My client is very upset, And they (Chris Ellison) currently have offered us VINYL windows at 1/2 price, saying they will split the cost with me! NO, I will have cost in removing the new windows I just paid for that won't pass and the inspector said he hasn't seen in over 2 years

I arrived at this location to deliver a load at 8:31 I checked in with a lady that then called in the intercom for someone to receive me nobody ever came to me I had to actually walk myself to one of the dock door and let the unloader know that I was here then I was finally released empty at 12:33 that's way too much one guy on a forklift only unloading trucks I don't understand

WATER LEAKING INSIDE - PLANO, TX
We had a custom made aluminum Don Young patio door installed at our home that is leading water on the INSIDE track which is on the INSIDE of our home. Patrick Frost's (manager) response to our complaint is that it is normal and refuses to correct the situation. This is unacceptable to us and I assume it would be unacceptable to any potential customers considering doing business with Don Young.
Our installer, who paid Don Young directly is Steve Wurst.

I have used DYC New replacement windows on 2 homes I have owned and on 3 office buildings I manage. I have been super pleased with the quality and how efficient they have been. I have noticed a great savings on my energy bills. All 5 jobs were done by First Exterior Designs and they were first class to work with and left our places cleaner than they were when they got there!! I highly recommend both companies!

Scott Young may very well be the only honest man in the entire window industry. Ok, maybe I'm exaggerating, but not by much. If you go to their showroom, here is what they will tell you:
Our windows are really good, and they are a really good value.
If you ask, are there better windows, they will say "yes," but they cost more, and maybe a lot more, and the quality is not that much different.
They will tell you exactly how their windows are made, what their strengths and weaknesses are and what you should expect when you install them compared to what you have now.
