Our spring broke and we had called Madden on the Sunday over the Christmas weekend and found that they were closed until Tuesday morning. I left a message with them. I got a call from them on Tuesday first thing, however I had already scheduled an appointment with a competitor. The competitor showed up, and very quickly began upselling - stating that brackets, rollers, torsion tubes - the whole system would need to be replaced at a cost of just over $2000. Keep in mind that we have not had any indication that there was a problem with the door or mechanism- no loud noises, pops or creaks. We declined

We used Madden to replace our old garage door and update it to something more modern. We worked with Scott who was extremely knowledgeable on what we were looking for. Aside from a mock-up, he also came out to measure and go over install details which was very helpful. The garage door took about 6 weeks and the team that installed was professional and worked quickly. We absolutely love the way it turned out and it's extremely quiet. Madden Door was a wonderful experience. Although it took some time to finalize the order and schedule the install, Scott's attention to detail was obvious. It was Scott's design services and knowledge of options that won me over another high-rated business. He was quick to explain why he did (or did not) recommend options. We have a great result. Yesterday our garage door spring broke and we were stranded in our home. We had used Mdden Door in the past so I called and was told the earliest they could come out was next week. There was definitely a "not our problem" vibe. I then called a competitor and by 9:30pm our door was fixed. Needless to say I will never use Madden again!!

Had our garage door replaced in May 2018 & they did an excellent job. We knew going in that our motor was the original (circa 1989-1991 era) but since there was no immediate need to replace, we elected to leave it.
Well, it began it's slow decline this year & today we just had the motor replaced by the 'one & only Kris'!!! Honestly, I had no idea how wonderful the new products were & so I know we should have had it replaced sooner.

I didn't realize how exciting garage doors could be until completing our project with Scott @ Madden Doors. Our needs were a bit complicated given the sun exposure and proximity to a golf course (errant golf balls) and he worked with us extensively to determine the right materials for our doors to guarantee a long life! A neighborhood kid crashed his go-kart into my garage last week and ruined the lower panel and one rail. I had Madden install the new garage door w/ opener 4 years ago and the price/process/service/quality was outstanding. I called them again last week to fix this issue and the service and responsiveness was A+ again.

Quick, easy and painless! Called them early Monday and set an appointment for Tuesday to fix a problem garage door.
They called a few hours later and said they had an opening! Fantastic. Guy came out and put in some longer lag bolts (one fell out) and greased the springs etc. Good as new. No more bad noises when opening/closing the garage door anymore.

We needed a new garage door for a couple years. During this stay at home time I decided to get started looking. I new I didn't want the basic type door. My garage takes up a large portion of the front of my house. I left a message and got a return call within an hour. I explained that I liked the carriage styles. He had me take a photo of front of my house and he was able to send my photos back with the three doors I chose.
I loved them and he came out later that day and I ordered the one I liked best.
3 weeks later my door came in and was installed on Monday. It still needed to be painted

We contacted two different garage door companies before calling Madden Door. The first quote was nearly $2K to replace springs and rollers, but they missed two different appointment slots. The second firm measured for springs and then never returned to complete the repair. Madden Door returned my email the next morning and sent a technician within an hour. The technician was experienced and honest and said we didn't need new springs, just adjustment. In one hour, he adjusted the springs, replaced the rubber gasket, replaced the side rollers, tightened all screws, adjusted the chain and opener

Great service from Madden Door both times we needed them. First, courteous & quick customer service via phone; then when the gentleman came out to replace our old & non-working automatic garage door opener, he was polite, professional & quick. The cost was so reasonable we were thrilled.
Six months later, a part from the old garage door itself broke. Another gentleman came - Cristobal - and he counseled us on our options & was so helpful. Again, so reasonably priced!!!

We had an automatic battery-backup garage door opener installed this morning by Kris. It was everything we wanted; great functionality, easy to use, and quickly and efficiently installed. Kris made sure that we knew how to use everything and that we understood the warranties and maintenance processes. There was no urgency to this, except that as we are aging we no longer wanted to consider hoisting up a garage door if the electricity went out! This is a perfect solution.

Of course my wooden garage door broke on a Saturday :( Madden Door responded to my voicemail 1st thing Monday morning. There was a bit of a wait, a couple of weeks, to get estimate, order door and get on the schedule. Communication was very good between myself, Kevin the president, Mary in office and Cris the installer---flawless, thanks.
Door looks great, works great and the plus is they were able to use the existing garage door opener. This was my 3rd time using Madden over the years, always a positive experience.

Eric was very helpful inspecting our garage door and installing a new spring for us. He explained potential upcoming costs we would need for future repairs to other aspects of our door so that we can prepare for them but advised us they were not necessary at this time. Very polite, professional and patient with questions.
