The National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) Contractor of the Year (CotY) Award is given each year by NARI Headquarters to members who have demonstrated outstanding work through their remodeling projects. The CotY's are widely considered to be the premier competition in the remodeling industry.
Nearly half of all projects signed by a remodeling contractor are the result of client referrals. An additional 22 percent of jobs are the result of word-of-mouth. Don't count on newspaper advertisements or the phone book. The best contractors don't have to advertise. They get work through satisfied customers' referrals.
