Joe Brena and his wife Deanna Brena, A.K.A. the Key Maker and the Lock Guru, are the owners and operators of Kwik Key. Joe Brena is a licensed locksmith here in North Carolina and a father of one. His son's name is Corey and he has taken interest in becoming a locksmith, helping out his father from time to time.

I was stranded 4 hours from home. I had to wait for Roadside assistance which was a nightmare because first tow truck never showed. After waiting almost two hours after loosing my keys I contacted Deeanna, we began the process of getting me a key but due to me not having a photo ID which was in the car🤦‍♀️I was able to locate a photo ID and sent to Deeanna with VIN number and my granddaughter was able to go and pick it up. It didn’t work and it was almost 5 pm time for them to close but Deeanna made another set of keys and brought them out to me. It was really great to know that there

I really tried to avoid this review, but I couldn’t after today. Back in June we made a call to have a key made to my mom Buick Encore and they answered and sent someone out that day and they made a key with a remote and one without, but was sticking badly. We received a call from another service guy the same day saying that there was something he needed to do that would cost nothing and would be there the next day to fix the issue and was a no show. Well, a few days ago we had to try and use the key that didn’t have the remote to get into the truck and the key got stuck. We first called the

Took my car to have a new key made. Joe said he could do it, started working on it then it was going to need a new key the one he had wasn't working. So I left the car. The new key was supposed to be there the next morning. 5 days later after multiple calls and no returned phone calls and a secretary who could not get Joe to call me back or give me any information, I finally went and got my car. No key was ever made. I called the owner bc now a light is on in the dash that was not on before I took my car there. I have no idea what they did but DO NOT TRUST them! Unprofessional! Really deserve
