Steven Cheroske has earned an impeccable reputation in his 3 decade long career in design. His career began over 25 years ago as a visual display artist. Steven eventually became Visual Director at notable department stores such as, the Broadway, Bullock's, Macy's, Sak's Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus.
Armed with experience, reputation and relationships, he stepped away from the corporate world and began his own business. In 1989, Steven Cheroske Design came to life and has excelled in establishing meaningful relationships with client's through creating beautiful commercial and residential design worldwide.
Steven has designed twelve store wide promotions for Lotte Department Stores in South Korea. He has spent over 5 years consulting on retail designs for Far Eastern Department Stores in Taiwan, ROC, as well as retailers in Japan, Indonesia and Singapore. His American clients are just as impressive, with design and installations for eleven St. John boutiques in the United States and Europe, Nicole Miller and other fine retailers.

Services
This large residence, in the prestigious Vintage Club in Indian Wells, presented a unique challenge. We needed to take an outdated traditional Mediterranean residence and transform it to an up to date contemporary home. First we smoothed all the interior walls that had a heavy texture and chose new paint colors inside and out.
VINTAGE CLUB 2 A prominent client contacted us after seeing another project we had done and contracted us to transform their traditional interior to a light and bright contemporary interior while they were away during the Summer. The architecture of the house is Mediterranean and our clients did not want to alter the architecture of the house, but wanted an updated interior design.
This project presented us a space with an absolutely stunning view. It was a welcomed challenge to exploit the natural beauty beyond the interior of this home. Our design included a complete demo of the existing space, so we could maximize the incredible views in The Grande. We also designed a new kitchen and bathrooms with state-of-the-art-technology from Lutron Homeworks Lighting Control System.
In 2008 we did a complete renovation of La Residence, after a modest upgrade to the property in 2000. What we ended up creating in 2008 was nothing short of breath taking. The red kitchen is a stunning vision we brought to life for our client. The kitchen went on to receive 'kitchen of the year' from a well respected national kitchen manufacturing association.
Aria, one of San Diego's latest high-rise additions is a welcome retreat to urbanite dwelling. Our challenge on this project was the small space. We ended up creating custom designed furniture that was scaled specifically to enhance the illusion of a large and open space. We came in under budget and finished in record time as well.
