1. Cost per Annual Killowatt Hour of Production. This metric levels the playing field, this tells you what kind of deal you are really getting. If its not on the quote, ask for it and compare. The lower the number the better. A well engineered system should pay you back anywhere from 5-9 years depending on your electric usage.
