Garage Door Company of Sikeston was founded in 1984 by Arthur and David Ziegenhorn (father and son, respectively), both lifelong residents of Sikeston. Our facilities, some 11,000 square feet near downtown Sikeston, are both old and new. The original building was constructed in 1923 and housed the Missouri Public Utilities Co. Ice Plant until it ceased operations in 1955.
Our corporate vision statement boils down to two words- Exceed expectations. When you exceed a customer's expectations, you've made a friend who's not hesitant to talk about the quality service they received. When an employee exceeds his own expectations, he feels rewarded and wants to learn more about the trade he has chosen for a career.
